People forget that Uhuru is vulnerable to lawfare foŕ corruption under Uhuru's regime by Ruto because Ruto is the president and he has the power. But also Uhuru and Ruto together know that there is a threat to their standing if an outsider comes to power. So it is like they have come together on one corner to try to manage the situation. Another thing Uhuru does not want to show his hand this early, he is waiting to look at the landscape then choose who to really endorse or support!
