Honestly, for those who are objective, DP Dr. Ruto is a tough nut to crack. Hussein thought he would wear him down but that plan didn't work. Of course I agree Hussein is a great interviewer but the scrip he was under instructions to follow was very subjective, indicating it was intended to achieve a goa which we can read very clearly in-between the lines. Some of the questions were unfairly put to the DP which in my considered opinion could have at best put to President Uhuru in person. Having said this, there is a readership and audience that has convicted DP Ruto without trial. These are stereotype mentality that until they harass their targeted enemies they do not find solace. I refuse to condemn a man without hearing and weighing facts and evidence to sift out chuf. My personal assessment is that the DP was often put on defensive mode, which he courageously took by the horns and gave very good responses. Let me also for the record register a sad observation that majority of the negative postings happen to bear names that suggest their political affiliation to the defunct NASA whose requiem service is yet to be announced by the high priest of poverty.

I am not a Ruto fanatic but walking into an interview with a fixed mind is the worst form of journalism. This is more of an interrogation than it is an interview, it prescribes to the narrative of, "be hard on him for popularity's sake".
