It has been quite a month for the now deputy president-elect William Ruto since the March 4th presidential polls. Enough that over the last few Sundays, Ruto has been captured shedding tears in 2 church services. In what is the first one-on-one interview with Kenya's deputy-elect, Evelyn Wambui talks to him about the emotional journey to leadership and what Kenyans should expect from him.

I admire the concept of family & respect Ruto for that more than anything. I do wish you all the best in your really most difficult job of bringing the country together after such a divisive election. I am sure you will not disappoint. One last thing, It's so nice to see a man show such emotions, because they truly comes from the heart. My wife told me that women can cry any time even when they are lying and don't really mean what they are crying for. So well done, you showed so much courage.

Ruto is so normal. I have interacted with some of his kids and they are as humble as they look. He has the authority and command deserving of a President. He knows common mwanainchi's problems and he is definitely no ass kisser for that he will be my President come 2022

The child is innocent however the mother was trying a narrative that flopped why didn't she highlight other children and their fathers and how much they are contributing..
