English or Japanese, this song is just a sad reminder of what could have been. Ruu is the first NPC who’s loss I truly felt the hit of, in the lore. It’s comparable to when Reuben the pig dies in Minecraft story mode, it’s such an impactful death for something or someone that shouldn’t be all that important. Good job, the singing is impressive.

For me the kazari is still the most emotional and hurt because of the story itself and her lore and what happened to her but this quest is also really really good.

Genshin does a phenomenal job of investing you in the world, but Inazuma’s World NPCs are particularly amazing in how they pull you into their lives. Kazari, Xavier, Chouji, Neko, Ruu, and Gedou. They all have lives, they’re ordinary and not-so-ordinary people just existing in the world, and it’s amazing. Their stories all _matter,_ in some way, to Teyvat.

I HATED the rift hounds and doing the tsurumi quest because i thought it was just another long story with people ordering us around but when i heard ruu's song it made me regret not looking too much into the story and knowing what happened to him during his sacrificing day and how it was repeated over and over again makes this song hit you deep in the heart i hope he's finally able to sing for his friend
