hey, that coil has a sweater on. Needs a good cleaning. do you ever use chemicals to clean the nasty coils? on all your videos you only hose them out with plain water. you are not a believer in coil detergent? do you put tablets on inside drip pan to keep drain clean, or do you not believe in those either? just curious. thank you for your videos. you are an honest man.

For these AC units, it looks like if you can change a cap and insert gas, you can fix 80% of the issues with these.:) Maybe a fan motor now and then.

Hello, I was curious if anybody out there has an opinion about the air conditioner service contracts that some of these companies tried to sell? I was quoted $229 for the year is it a waste of money or is it something not needed because I can perform basic tasks on the air conditioner how much further will they go and is it worth $229. Thanks in advance for any input.

A couple weeks ago I had a bad capacitor on an old Weather King unit, all the info on the capacitor itself was non existent. I googled the model number to see what capacitor it needed. I got lucky and found what kind of cap it uses.

They are good units but for some reason the condenser coils are always dirty. You can have another brand next to it and they will be twice as dirty. Idk if it coil fin spacing or who know what.
