I love the kind of guy that will do something super stupid and/or silly to have fun one moment and then suddenly give super genuine and down to earth advice the next. Really cool stuff.

Exactly why the Holostars boys are loved yet they are super underrated ngl..they deserve more love.
@tarodeculture8 ай бұрын
Ruze took one question and answered it from every angle. Easily one of the most professional streamers in HoloPro. If he were able to speak Japanese, I would have loved Ruze to converse with Yagoo about a streamer's perspective. He gives so much detail, yet he is easy to understand.

Oh, I was hoping you would clip that part. That Q&A zatsu was really insightful of what made Ruze to be the person that he is today. Sharing all the experience and adversity he faced and how that molded him. No wonder he is so sself-conscious and sometimes pessimistic.

Haven’t watched much of this fella outside of debut because there’s so many of them to keep up with now, but holy moly I was invested with this entire clip. He was very informative but also engaging and grounded in reality

I have nothing to add. This was dense with information and good general advice. What's amazing is how clearly he communicated everything while livestreaming. It's good enough to be part of a script.
@dustycoal1838 ай бұрын
I am so happy that Ruze pointed out that putting any focus on the numbers is not totally bad. Those numbers correlate with how likely you might get money and you need money to fricking surivive. You can't make content if you are dead.

Never expected this clip to hit me as hard as it did, this is some really solid advice This doesn't just apply to being a vtuber but to anyone who does content creation Okay a bit of a personal experience here but I do art and in the recent months found myself in some sort of weird slump where I'm super lost on what do to, where to go next, who I'm even doing art for, etc. What Ruze said just made me realized that I need to ask myself these questions too and that I have some self evaluation that needs to be done

I respect holostars for having conversations like this. on a bit of a related note i do know astel had a conversation about this a few weeks ago where he talks about holostars jp's growth and how to make themselves known out there, i think in a way, it can kinda relates to what ruze is saying here. a lot of fans hate seeing and looking at numbers, but they are streamers under a company and they're doing a job. astel and ruze are doing a job and its important for them to look and have discussions about numbers, and like ruze said, its not a bad thing. its not always a bad thing to acknowledge that "hey maybe im lacking here" or "hey im doing well in this area". what does stink tho in my opinion is if people brinf up numbers to begrade someone instead of helping them improve, thats when i think its wrong to talk about numbers, but in general, like ruze said, its not wrong to talk about it

omg you know the video which this channel posted about gibby being queer friendly? i saw a comment saying "oh this is gonna be the next niji streamer" just because he said trans rights and using the numbers to compare the stars with live girls and it sounded EXACTLY like comparing someone with their view count etc and it WAS SO CRINGE 😭😭😭

It’s nice when Holopro talents address the topic of parasocialism and how fans can’t be friends with content creators. Fauna did a great job with the topic but some of her fans and antis took it the wrong way unfortunately. Happy that Ruze addressed it in a way the was harsh yet realistic.

I had a time where I was flirting with the idea of streaming. Even got assets for it, but social anxiety said "Wait a minute. Don't".
@LazyAnubiteDaven8 ай бұрын
Exact same - I've only just started (100% newb)... TBH, it was so much easier to start trying to stream (or even just hit the 'Start Streaming' button) when playing a game with a close friend, because I didn't have time to think about how anxious I was feeling - I'd be too busy trying to respond to my friend + playing the game, etc, to think myself into an anxious, nervous, sweaty, mental hole about what I must look like, how bad or quiet or whatever I am. Basically an emotional support human. If you're still interested in the idea, try streaming a voice chat co-op game with a close friend to get used to the idea of streaming? Or even just record a vid as a sort of pretend/mock stream the first few times and if it doesn't feel too bad, try to actual stream? (that's what I did, for a while x_x). I don't know if that's good or bad advise, but that's what I did... I had to take baby steps to feel remotely 'safe' with my anxiety. I've only just started streaming alone in a solo game, once I got used to streaming with friends - and it's a whole other level of scary (the idea of just intro/outro-ing to even 0 viewers makes me wanna anxiety-barf as if I have a million pairs of eyes on me OTL), but... things usually get easier after doing it a bunch, right?

Based af. For me, it's 1) create the kind of content that you yourself would like to consume, 2) create just in order to create be it art, audio or a stream, 3) numbers are just numbers and you are not going to do this as a fulltime gig starting from nothing, and finally 4) good luck ending up with my kind of mentality for producing (vtubing, fleshstreaming, art, music, etc), it really really helps. I still suffer from a degree of perfectionism tho :(

i got back to this video once again because of how much people assume fwmc is "based" for being silent when the stars relay showed up im like ????? you like hearing people they dont support you like dawg that aint it 😭😭 they are silent because their fans are gonna be the same people who will trash nonsense to the twins if THEY DO support the boys and its very ironic
