Adam is known to be messy that's how his character is. I really loved this episode. It wasn't about relationships or ships, it's based on trust and addiction, friendships, police brutality. That's what this shows about it's a cop show not a cw show that's all about ships. I love each characters storyline especially Jay centric ones too. But adam deserved the screentime. Patrick's performance was the best.

Ruzek has been always a grey area character which is really interesting. He is like Will from Med (despite Jay being his brother lol it seems like the writers forget about it but it's an other conversation )also walking on the fence. On Fire idk? It's more refreshing than always "follow the rules" at least on tv. Patrick was really amazing in this episode :)

@Ardent Livin I think that they need to find the balance between police 🚔 dynamics and drama, and personal lives. I think the pendulum had swung too much to the personal romance stuff, that the show was losing its grit. Last night 🌙episode was a way of getting back to Chicago PD seasons 1-5 style.

Hank is the boss finally acting like the boss. He knows it's time to let his team grow and learn. They have to learn how to handle situations and a real supervisor doesn't hold his subordinates hands. They've been intelligence long enough now, Ruzek, Burgess and Atwater have to prove that they are worthy to make detective. Halstead has to prove he can be in command and Hank has to keep low stay clean and watch out for the traps from the Ivory Tower. OLIVIA BENSON IS THE ONLY BOSS THAT HAS TO BE IN EVERYTHING.

C.I 's don't live too long if they work for Intelligence Unit. * Hank's stripper CI got killed. * Halley's CI got his top blown off. * Burgess CI got merked fishing for info. * Darius got his tongue cut out because Hailey set him up. * and now Adam's boy got blasted because of Police reform. 🚔 Snitchin ain't easy!
