So beautiful: the dance, the wordless cues, his reaction as she places her hand on his heart. They are in love. They know it, as well, looking back. This will be a milestone for Zeynep. We come to know this because, out of all of Zeynep’s memories, the moments starting at 43:42 are where she first flashes back while accepting that she is in love with Halil when he is in the hospital in Ep 116. Looking back, she has no doubt about what she feels as they share this dance. When he comes out of the hospital, Halil tells his sister that he fell in love with Zeynep at first sight. Likely she fell love in Ep 1 as well-she may come to say it, or another memory will surface. But so far, this is what is given. Halil and Zeynep each accept that during this dance, they were mutually in love.❤️‍🔥

13:45 I love how from the earliest episodes they show that his character is highly aware of her presence in any room. He hardly ever turns around. He just knows she’s there. Even by episode 120, she doesn’t have the same awareness of him, he keeps starting her when he is near, but he is always aware of her and I love it. Such a small detail, but so necessary to the story. He fell in love with her at first sight and spent a long time fighting it, for her it was very slowly and she wasn’t aware of it until much later when he almost died …

This is hard, because I love your main point. Halil really is much much more aware of where Zeynep is at all times. It can be uncanny, she’ll ask, “do you have eyes in the back of your head?” He can just sense her presence. She cannot, and does not sense him in that way. You don’t suppose he’s smelling her do you? 😅😂 Anyway, I just want to say that I don’t think that equates to loving or not loving, or even loving more slowly. From my perspective, she’s falls nearly as fast as he does, at least by the engagement party. I think it all gets pushed down when he turns cruel, but never entirely leaves her. She is generally less dramatic than he is in her emotions, but to me it seems to shine through fairly often, as in this dance. Awareness of being in love is a separate thing from being in love, he becomes aware in Ep 50. She won’t admit even to herself until, as you say, Ep 116 when Halil almost dies. She won’t admit it because she has dignity and is stubborn, and simply refuses to self-identify as someone who is love with a person who harmed her and her family so much. She says that, essentially, to Selma. But is she really not aware? Look at her openly asking herself what’s going on from the wedding forward. In 83, she tells Halil that he keeps breaking her heart. I believe she knows, she’s just in denial. When she does finally admit it to herself, what does she flash back to? Where does she locate the emotion? She flashes back to them in the lake in 104, she knows she was in love then. But before that, she flashes back to this dance. Because yes, Zeynep was already in love with Halil here.

This is a very interesting discussion, and I just want to add this. Hallie we know fall in love the first time when he saw her at the tractor. For Zeinep...I really think she fell in love in earlier episodes too...even took her longer to admit. It's her first love and she was raised in isolated farm. But I don't know if you witness guys...even Hallie was nasty with her in the beginning...she never refused his touch, his man arms and hands touching her. And she can't handle any other male to slightly touch her. ..even. But with Hallie she doesn't have any complaints at all. I just want to add how wonderful actors they both are,but I am memorize by Gokberk talent, sensibility and creativity. Bravo 👏
