...grrrrreat advice, y'all!!!...have been an RV'er for 30 years and haven't gotten any feedback for the vent covers.... ...I'm from front range of Colorado where hail storms are not uncommon...if you store your RV outside, I'd recommend placing a 1/2 inch layer of foam cut to the size of the vent and then a slightly larger piece of thick-milled plastic...whick can be folded under the rim of the vent and duct taped around the base of the vent... ...when left unprotected, the PVC that the vents are made from will become hard and brittle, and even a light hailstorm can crack them, allowing water to invade and damage your RV...and a heavy hailstorm can destroy them completely...always inspect your RV roof after a major storm to preserve your right to make an insurance claim..and take photos of any consequent damage... ...the same advice, of course applies to A/C covers and Sewage tank vents, as well... ...Cheers, snd best wishes to the nice folks at RV Education 101...we're never too old to learn something new to prolong the lives of our beloved RV's...

Never thought about using the roof vents. Brilliant. Thought you had to have the max air fan.
