Now that the lake is at a history low due to the drought you can now ride your bike/ebike 6 miles to Fremont island from Antelope Island which has lots of birds and no inhabitants, so cool. Tom, I have always wondered why inner tubes made from kevlar-like material couldn't be used in tires to prevent them from 'exploding' thereby limiting damage? The inner tube could be moved to the next set of replacement tires.....just a thought. Would seem to be a level of protection on the steer tires too.

Utah has always had a place in my heart, from Salt Lake City, Park City and Logan, which are my top 3 areas, outside of the National Parks. Love the geography and the climate. I also love skiing in Utah of all the places and I am an Alumna of Utah State University in Logan, Utah. At that time Logan was the only campus. Now USU has many campuses throughout the state of Utah, including SLC and Park City. I did attend the University of Utah, from January to May of 1980, and there were seagulls on the campus. I kept thinking of an ocean, but it is the Great Salt Lake, which was once part of Lake Bonneville which was a lot larger than the Great Salt Lake.
