That is a new campground opened in 2023. My family go out there in early spring and fall the bugs are crazy bad. The Jets fly over my house daily. As a Retired Navy guy kind of use to thw noise. Glad you all enjoyed Antelope Island.

I live about 40 miles from Antelope Island by road. I haven't been out there in several years. I didn't realize there was the new campground out there. Guess I better book a site and go check it out. Thanks guys!

That’s a beautiful park. I’ve even swam/ floated in the lake. Because of the high salinity you literally float quite high in the water with zero effort.

Abby the next time in Independence you might check the nice herd of Buffalo on McCune Hill just west of Fort Osage High School. The kids on my bus enjoy seeing them, especially the babies.

If your ever in TX, near Amarillo is Caprock Canyon state park. Many buffalo. You could wake up and they are at your door. If not they are all over. Great place just not in the summer

Good old Salt Lake. In summertime, you can swim out there and literally because of the high salt content, float about 5 times greater than fresh water. Almost impossible to swim below the surface without weights. I'm wondering if a leaf blower might do an better job in clearing off that snow from your slide outs and truck bed cover. Those Bisen are hard core survivors...the good genes remain in existence, that is for sure. Utah is a fabulous state if you do not mind the winter temps and snow. Too bad they installed the water and power so the RV has to block the view when using the covered benches.

We've been to Utah several times about 30 years ago. There was an awful smell out on Antelope Island. Maybe the brine shrimp were rotting on the beach.

@AbomAdventures7 ай бұрын
We film in both depending on the moment and if we want to use the video on Reels. Not changing what we do because someone is annoyed. If you see a vertical video it’s because we want to use it on Reels and include it in the KZbin edit as well.

Is the island still an island?! When i was a kid i know it was but on google earth it looks like the lake had shrunk so much that its not an island anymore 😢
@TheBgoose5 ай бұрын
The last two winters have been really good and the lake has rebounded but we need more winters like we recently had to keep the momentum going with water level.

❤❤❤ Bison vs Buffalo: What’s the difference? What is the difference between Bison vs Buffalo? In common speech, we often use these terms interchangeably. Bison and Buffalo are distantly related to each other, as well as to cattle and goats. However, there are important differences between the two. The animals native to North America are “Bison,” even though we commonly call them “Buffalo.” French fur trappers in the early 1600s first called these animals “Boeuf.” They were referring to African and Asian Buffalo. However, the name “Buffalo” stuck and there is still confusion over it today! The Wild West will forever be associated with “Buffalo,” such as Buffalo Bill Cody, commemorative Buffalo nickels, “where the Buffalo roam,” etc. Know the difference between the “Buffalo” of the wild west, the American Bison vs Buffalo that are found abroad, or true Buffalo. ❤❤❤

If you guys are going to adventure to the Midwest during this time of year, ya gotta pack an extension snow brush and a small shovel. Us folks in the Northeast pack them in our cars from November to May. Glad you guys like the snow. We get totally sick of it by Spring.
