You should put some solar on the roof. We have an older c-class and have around 200W of solar and it serves us just fine for a weekend of camping.

Love the toddler vrs slug meeting! I think every Pacific NW kid has grabbed one at some point and said ewww 😁 Chloe is a natural on those uneven trails and will be running all over in no time. She has such curiosity for everything around her! Love your decorating, too. Nice to add your own personal touch to your home on wheels. I’ve enjoyed your cooking segments on the Blackstone so much that I bought one and am enjoying it. Thanks!

Haha yeah you're probably right with the slugs Lori. Sure was a great spot there to let her explore and practice her walking though hey. So peaceful and the trails were nice to enjoy and get off the main roadways etc. Glad she was able to get walking and explore with us while out RVing still there! 🍁

li much prefer provincial for that reason, nature, the forest, slugs, looks like a good time was had by all. I enjoy watching Chole master new skills.

Yeah they're definitely worth the price for sure. Having the general rules and such a nice peaceful spot with some privacy in nature is what it's all about for sure. This is a beautiful BC Park for sure! 🍁

Thank you and thanks for watching! It's kind of wild to think we've been doing these vlogs for roughly 4 years now but so glad we've been able to share it and will have all the memories to look back on. Been quite the adventure and hopefully many more to come! 😀🍁

Wow! Go Chloe go! Doing so amazing! Beautiful pic. Are you guys still out camping? I have some friends snow birding in Osyooys in their Class C after spending the rest of the year at Koocanusa. You should check out those areas sometime! I always have to spell check them! ha ha
@LukeandAlysha2 жыл бұрын
Not anymore, just a bit of a filming backlog from recording 2-3 times a week and not uploading that frequently. Helps with not having things live for privacy etc too at least while on the road. Think most channels all have that. Sure is cold and snowy lately! Never heard of Koocanusa but will have to give it a look. Sure with we were able to be in the RV somewhere warm like Arizona again right now haha. Cheers Sue! 🍁

I guess you could say that almost all British Columbia have trees between sites while it's pretty common for western US rv parks to resemble parking lots.

Wow, are you still out? I thought you'd be home. I will keep an eye out for your rig on the island
@LukeandAlysha2 жыл бұрын
This was actually filmed more towards Fall, so not out anymore sadly. (Although with this weather system likely for the best haha) Just with filming 2-3 videos a week and not uploading that many it made for a slight backlog into the off season here. I think that's pretty common with most the big RV channels. Also gives that little bit of lead time for privacy when on the road. Thanks for watching and take care! 🍁

My wife and I travel from Ontario to Newfoundland every couple of years ,the only time I shut the propane off for the fridge is on the ferry .We have never had a problem .

That's a fun trip! Yeah odds are nothing is going to go wrong on a normal day, but it's generally more for if you were to get in an accident I believe. Also the law I believe in certain States and Provinces. Happy camping and safe travels guys! 🍁

Do they have hours that you can use your generator or can you use it most of the day if it's a quiet one like a honda? Thanks and nice video :)

It's November 30th today, but when did you guys film this episode? #curiousgeorge
@LukeandAlysha2 жыл бұрын
Hey Jeff! Can't remember the exact date but it was near the beginning of fall in reality. We usually keep a week or 2 lead just for privacy before we upload as I think most RVers must but this one was a little farther back with filming so much this year. 2-3+ vids a week vs the upload schedule to edit them type thing. Think Ive heard KYD and the other big channels also generally run a little backlog to take them into the shoulder season. Its like -12c and snowy here right now so definitely glad to not be outside haha. Cheers! 🍁

is it the same for Class C Rv's for electric, propane and so forth. can I just not get solar panels to get through the day?
@LukeandAlysha2 жыл бұрын
For the most part yup! Motorhomes will generally charge more off of the alternator while you drive from location to location as well. One thing to keep in mind with solar is how much sunlight you will actually be getting on them in your campsites though. A denser forest like this may only get you a small fraction, similar to most of the campsites we use in our home Province of BC (Canada). If you were in more open campgrounds like we spent a lot of time in this year while traveling the states you would be able to get a lot of us though! Cheers 🍁

@@LukeandAlysha Thank you very much for replying. this is very informative for a beginner such as myself. I don't own one yet but I am wanting to do full time living in a class C RV.
@LukeandAlysha2 жыл бұрын
It's a fun lifestyle for sure! We did our first 3 years RV vlogging pre baby in a class C and loved it. The only real downside we didn't like wasn't being able to just take a vehicle to town for groceries, or a scenic busy area without packing up the house and trying to fit the motorhome in touristy spots built for regular vehicles. Still lots you can do though and great for boondocking! Happy browsing and camping 🍁
