So how is the table working out for you. I see you have the dog crate in the spot. If the table is working for you great. But if it not. You could mount the dog crate permanently in that spot. Then build a folding table over the top of the crates. it so you can flip . The main table would stay on the dog crate and the hinged part would flip over to still seat you.

The table is great and we use it as a desk more often. The dogs have since passed and we no longer use the crates.
