If 2 ounces is good for 40 gallons, and you have "an ounce or so" is a small jar; then you have an extremely concentrated solution in the jar compared to what would normally be in the holding tank. Therefore, this does not seem like a valid demonstration

No kidding. Over 15000% increase in concentration. 2 ounces treats 40 gallons (1:2560 ratio). This demonstration 1+ oz in a 32 oz quart jar. A ratio of 1:32. One drop from an eye dropper should be enough for one quart.

I have a brand new wolfpup 16fq and have emptied both tanks and still says 1/3 full?

I'd love to see this test performed with 10x less Pure Power Blue and a 24-hour sitting period to better replicate a holding tank. I would also not agitate at all, and just try to pick up pieces to see the difference in size as-is.

looks good but you did not agitate them the same or test them the same, plus a half ounce would be enough of 10 gallons..
