What about for passenger side parking? My storage lot space only will allow me to back in direction that the space is in the passenger side of the coach.

Jeepers...You made it look so simple! My confidence just went up 200%! We are on our way to pickup or new to us 45' DP RV (coming from a 32' gas rig) and will be driving it 2500 miles back to our home base in Spokane, WA. I think this will help tremendously! Now...you have anything that simple for right hand turns? glup! Thanks!

💯🙏 for this tip. I'm trying to learn as much as possible as quickly as possible so this "backing in" tip was extremely helpful. To clarify, was the 8ft marker arrived at by knowing the exterior width of your rv? If your rv width is, say, 7ft would you have placed your marker at 7ft? Or would you still mark off 8ft (width x 1ft)? Trying to fully understand how the footage is calculated. Knowing that would be helpful for us newbies. Thanks again!

Nicely done video, but I never use a spotter. In fact, the only time I ever hit anything backing up was ONE TIME when I did use a spotter! I was looking at him instead of my mirrors. Never again. I use the G.O.A.L. system...Get Out And Look. When I am backing, I’ve got mirrors on both sides and a camera that looks to the rear. A competent driver doesn’t need a spotter.

I'm trying to find tips on backing into a spot solo, maybe put a mark at the 8' point and GOAL when I think I'm lined up? Any suggestions? I suppose I should just practice if I can find an empty parking lot.

If you want to spend $100.00 per basement door then go for it. Getting one for the average basement door will not work it falls down slowly. Big rip off do not buy.

The 8 feet is the width of the RV and he is measuring forward from the main rear axle (not tag). This will work with all RV's.

I appreciate your effort. You are on to something here but it needs to be expanded a little. Where does the 8 feet come from so that number can be calculated for other MH if necessary. Disappearing in the mirror is somewhat subjective as the driver tends to lean forward or backward to keep the helper in sight. Longer overhang from rear axle seems to increase difficulty substantially (for me anyway). Many thanks

It seems like a reasonable system. But, I would point out that you don't know how "green" it is. If you're getting your electricity from a coal fired power plant, it's not reducing your carbon footprint. Of course, the same can be said of a brand new Tesla.

I'd love to see this test performed with 10x less Pure Power Blue and a 24-hour sitting period to better replicate a holding tank. I would also not agitate at all, and just try to pick up pieces to see the difference in size as-is.

I think this is a very nice system. Even-though I have both propane and two heat pumps on the roof, I would rather use this system then the LOUD heat pumps on the roof.

+Mark Cole If you just get smart and go to Home Depot you can get 3 of the 600 watt kick plate heaters that mount at the bottom of walls, cabinets or where you want them. They are very small, use near no power. They take up little space, use 1/3 the power and heat amazingly well with all built in safety. Total cost for it all to go into a 35 foot RV and a thermostat was under $200

Great demo -- however, nobody talks about the breeze that is needed for this to work- created by your fan for the demo. I have been out on many hot no breeze stagnant days - .but still, I think this is better then the old style caps. Thanks, for the demo. Cheers, Patrick

John Crawford makes a good point -- how did you come up with the 8 foot dimension? I'd think the length and wheelbase and whether there is a tag axle might have an effect. It would be extremely helpful if you could clarify this. I think the video is still helpful as a general idea, but more specifics would make it even more valuable.

I read this products information even read it again in trailer life magazineand you have to consider a few things. 1st off, if you are not on a meter for your electric its a good deal. I know how to do wiring on heating systems and this product is very user friendly as far as hooking up to your furnace so for me when I hook this to my unit I myself can by pass paying someone to install it.. Yea you can use space heaters if you want them free standing in your unit. But remember this is engineered to be safe to run with all it safe faults built in so when YOU SLEEP you don't have to worry of a fire or something happening by accident. Plus its hooked into units thermostat so once the temp gets to a comfortable level the unit shuts down. In my case I have a C class 28 ft with propane tank attached to chassis of Camper so I can just take the tanks for a ride to be refilled unless I drive the whole camper there. I don't really want to have small electric heaters on all around me. So you need to consider the whole package of convenience this also offers to some. Now I cant see how any electrician or Rv dealer charging more then 500 to install this, its not that big a job to do, but at the same time some dealers will get you as much as they can. I think this is a solid safe good product and offers a safe alternative to an electric heat source without space heaters plugged in your camper on the floor. I only need 30 amps to heat my living space but the system offers you up to 50amp for a bigger unit. I adding this soon to my unit for me it makes lots of sense to me.
@FINELINEVAN

Also this electric heat costs what it cost to run you AC in warm weather so a campground usually adds that cost per site per night into its cost if you not metered so your only getting what you pay for anyway.

Propane is heavy, particularly when it needs to be placed in a place that may not be easy to get to. However there are systems where you can fill up on LPG at a petrol station.

It is always better to have options... but I suspect that if this becomes popular then unlimited electricity at the camp site will become a thing of the past.

The man and woman at the end of the video made another good point. Propane bottles are heavy when full. I would always like to have propane as an option, but for now electric would be more practical and cost efffective for me.

Yes, this IS a big deal! Right now my propane furnace is not working and I would love to be able to switch to electric at least until I figure out what's going on with the propane. Also my lot rent includes unlimited electricty so why wouldn't a person want to use electric when they can? Options are always good! :)

Big deal. If you're paying a flat rate for hook-ups for the night and need a bit of heat, you'll save on your propane consumption, which is still not to say that this installation is worth it. Just that the "cost of heating" is irrelevant.
