Excellent video. Loved all the old stuff. I remember my folks renting some of those for trips when I was very young. Too much fun so Thanks, Eric ! We own a 1963 GM 4106 ( Greyhound ) 35 ft. bus conversion. It's aluminum. Some of the buses like ours are stainless steel but it's heavy. ALL of the trailers that you thought were stainless steel were actually Aluminum. Most of us don't own a vehicle that would pull something that size made of stainless.

Thanks for the tour. I really enjoyed it. I looked and couldn't find the camp trailer that my family had, I mean the model. My dad worked at a RV dealership since the beginning of the 60's. We got our first camp trailer in 1962. It was a Go-Lite. I can't find any info on them anywhere. The first one was to small, and then Dad came home with a 17 foot Go-Lite. It had no bathroom in it. The couch and table area made into a bed. The thing that you called storage is a bunk. It reminded me of a stretcher that was used to transport wounded people. It is made out of canvas and was stitched in a way to put the poles in and put in the brackets on the wall. Dad said that it can hold over 200 lbs and he even tried it out before buying. I learned that when I asked about it. He picked me up and put me in the bunk. I slept in it until I was 17 years old. There are two other brackets close the the ones near the wall to be able to put the bunk out of the way. Just wrap the hanging canvas over the poles. I don't recall having leaks in it. Dad kept it into the 90's.
