RV Leaky Toilet Repair: Full Time RV Family of 9 repairs TWO ways an RV toilet leaks

In this video Jay shares step by step instructions for repairing the waste valve and water valve on an RV toilet. The specific toilet in this video is a Thetford Style 2, but the repairs are identical on the Thetford Style Lite and Style Plus. The principle are the same for most all pedal style rv toilets.

Thank you very much sir. Nice clear video but I will only add one suggestion for the next time. Put you a shut off valve on your water line so you don’t have to turn everything off and also it makes it easier if you ever have another leak you can just turn it off and on right from the toilet seat.

@@FindYourCrazy Sadly, repairs are the trade-off in owning older rigs and vehicles. Our 2 vans are 2015 and 2016, with each repair I remind myself that they are paid for and the repair is cheaper than a new van.

the white tall tube shape at the very top of my toilet is where the water is coming from. what is that called. how do u replace that?

Swap over to a Dometic toilet. They are better. Most of the problem is probably bad water that has a lot of calcium and lime deposits.
