Every labor day weekend the ppl with summer beach homes place things on the curbs and there's tons of vehicles that drive up n down the roads n pick up often very nice reusable items, furniture mostly..it's advertised in the local paper..my BFF furnished her whole huge home doing this every year for the last 25+ years..I'm probably moving back into sticks n bricks before summer ends n hope to enjoy some of those items myself this year👍😉

I agree with you Terri that all living critters are another link in the chain supporting life on our planet. Spiders and snakes definitely push my beliefs about the sanctity of life. Being a Louisiana Cajun (Coonass), I believe those scorpions look too much like crawfish and lobster. They must be boilable and edible with proper seasoning!!!! LOL!!!! The “DOR Club” or “Clan” sounds like a good description of the DOR Subscribers. I have also been around since Terri found the 1st camper on Craigslist for “free”!! I normally can’t make it to midnight unless I am standing watches.

i've done low budget reubens with the thin-sliced buddig lunchmeat pouches, they turn out quite good. i like caraway rye because i grew up with it, but lots of people don't like the taste and sourdough is a perfectly acceptable substitute.
