Thanks for another honest and positive video. We’re also heading into our 4th year and the unexpected will always happen. Our Tucker has had so many different issues like a fox tail in his ear, eating something on the beach that made him sick…….things we never thought of. My whole entire outlook has changed being on the road and it’s due to people like the two of you that we meet along the way.

We have explored more of this country because we own an RV. Just last night, we were discussing this with my sister-in-law, who travels with us, and was nearly in tears from the incredible places we've visited. She would never have traveled like this or seen so much of the country otherwise. While we are not full-timers, we travel quite a bit, and it’s always an adventure. I really enjoy your videos because they convey the positive aspects of RVing. Our friends often think we don’t encounter issues because we don’t dwell on them, but on our last trip, both of our slides failed to retract, and we had to call an RV repair technician to come to the campground to fix them. However, this issue was just a small part of our overall experience. Anyone who has traveled in an RV knows that challenges will arise, and we have chosen to embrace those moments rather than let them derail our trips. Again, keep doing what you do.
@oureverydaygetawayАй бұрын
What a wonderful thing you guys can include your sister-in-law on your travels. This country is a sight to see.❤️ We feel so fortunate to have not had a major issue happen to us with our rig while on the road. Safe travels to you and your family. Happy New Year!

Great video, really enjoy your channel! You tell it like it is for sure. Full time here 10 years. When we started there were no content creators, just written blogs! It does get easier the longer you live this lifestyle. I can't imagine any other life, but I know it is coming as we get older and things "happen" as you say. We wish we had started in our 50's ILO waiting until retirement. We live in such a BEAUTIFUL country. We have discovered after living on the east coast for 40 years we now spend our time out west where we love the beauty and the solitude. We still workamp in the summer and do our own thing in the winter. Cruising is our hobby when not working. Last winter an 18 day cruise to Hawaii, coming up a 35 day cruise to Hawaii and Tahiti. Living with less "stuff" is just wonderful. Keep up the good work, looking forward to following your travels. PS - NO fan of TT here, just another time share thing, would never never buy into that for sure, but to each his/her own.

Great video Chris and Katrina! I remember Tuckers eye. Is it doing better? This is great to hear your point of view of rving. And the downfalls. I hear Katrina with not having a bath tub. I would miss it too! But I think I heard or saw one of those inflatable tubs. I think I saw it on an infomercial. I was watching that Rvtv only saw Mike and Susan on there and that Rv center. Then I went back to when it was in and never found again. I’ll try and look again and see you on there. Can’t comment but can watch. You both are doing great with the content. Pro tip from another long soak in a tub loving RVing gal: Get you one of those 3 ring inflatable kiddie pools, inflate just the top and middle ring, place in your shower floor and brace it with the shower doors so it stays in place, then fill it up to about 4 inches. Once you sit, it will feel more full. You can only do this on full hookups since you will need to empty by hand with a pitcher/small bucket. I dump the water down the toilet, and then Dave uses it to do a full dump/rinse on the tanks. It works pretty well for that long bath feeling. If I could change one thing on our rig, it would be to add a real tub! "Showers only" is the real BS of RV life! 😂 🛁 🛀

I know right?? Not quite sure what's going on but it's been good to us. When it comes to TT's we believe you can definitely save money. It just comes down to if you want/need nicer parks. Hey, I've never done Thousand Trails didn't need to I stay up more of the resort places mainly less kids they're 55 and older at 6:30 in the morning you don't have some kid yelling I want to go to the beach. There pricey but very peaceful. I never get a spot close to the pool. After seeing a huge guy in a speedo you can't unsee that😂 I got kind of traumatized after that. Who know that they made speedo so strong.

What a story I have about a Harvest Host. Stayed at a Polygamist farm. Helen bought everything they sold. She even bought Raw Milk. I've never drank Raw milk, ever ! 😅 least I can laugh about it...

Don't drink raw milk ever you can get so sick so fast that's like RJ Kennedy's son how the hell you think he got his worm in his head that's how drinking raw milk and I grew up on a dairy farm so I'm telling you don't even give it to cats cuz if you think about it the amount of parasites and other things in there I'm not going to gross you out with telling you can actually kill you there is no benefit to drinking raw milk

Raw milk?! You’re braver than we are! You'll have to tell us the whole story someday. Wishing you both a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

@oureverydaygetaway Likewise to you both, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. My good friend died unexpectedly in his sleep. Celebration of Life to be in Jan. We still should get to "Q" around the 24 or 25..

Tub....for romance....hell yes🥰....for cleaning....hell no😜! How do you get clean sitting in your dirty water?!😜
@oureverydaygetawayАй бұрын
For soaking purposes only. Shower first to get clean.😁

Get a blow up tub you can put in the shower
@oureverydaygetaway25 күн бұрын
Great idea and I've thought about doing just that. The only problem is our shower has a huge tile sitting/shelf that makes the space to small for one.😔

It's not easy because you want to be a content creator how about going back to be a KZbinr.
@oureverydaygetawayАй бұрын
Not sure what the difference is. For us we consider ourselves KZbinrs.

@@oureverydaygetaway What I mean is many tubers just document, share tips and tricks, great spots, stuff about RVing. Unfortunately everyone gets wrapped up into money, sponsors, free stuff and you end up spending days editing film, you visit places you don't even see because you need content and I got a film. You all start out full-timming ( sort of) and then the lure of money, free stuff and you end up bypassing travel life. Furthermore I hear all too often " We are working hard for you" no your not you are doing for the money, don't do it for me, and way too many "FullTimers" can't afford to fulltime. I also work work hard making products but I don't tell my customers count yourself lucky I worked hard to make that for you and you owe me, buy my merch, give me more monthly money on Patreon and I'll tell you when a new product comes out so you can buy them. Life comes by once, if you can afford it, visit, travel and see the sight and not through a viewfinder. I don't mean too rant on you guys, spend less time making the ultimate video with fancy corporate intro's, just a quick video you would be surprised at the results.

Okay, can totally see where your coming from. As for us we don't have a Patreon account and/or beg for money. We do sell merch but that is something we love to share but make very little on. Chris spends a lot of time editing but does it because he's not very good at it. He would tell you the same thing. For us there is no shame in sharing a product we are passionate about. Our policy has been and always will be if we don't like the product we send it back or tell our followers why we don't like it. We never accept anything on the basis we'll promote it just for the money or product. Being honest with everyone is the only way to be. Hopefully you'll continue to follow us but it you choose not to we completely understand.
