I think Winnebago should just offer an actual nightstand with storage. I have never seen an interior photo where the bed is set up to be a connected platform.

I listened carefully to this video. I may have missed it, but didn’t hear anything about comfort being a reason to purchase this mattress. I find the stock mattress very uncomfortable and don’t care about pilling or condensation issues. Are you finding the mattress to be more comfortable than the stock version?

Hello, great observation in the video and if we/I neglected to mention comfort then In dropped the ball on that one. There are options as mentioned, and depending on what you’re looking for, yes for each of us we like the comfort level more. However, comfort is subjective to one’s needs. My question back is, do you find the EKKO mattress too soft or too firm? This may help me provide some insight to which you ago old choose. @@PaulZelis we use a regular xtra long twin sheet that has a good stretch. Haven’t found the perfect Ekko mattress sheet yet… :)

Another EKKO KZbinr did a review and mentioned that the stock mattress had a gap to accommodate when accessing the storage area. They mentioned it ended up aligning with hips which was pretty uncomfortable. This one did not appear to have that issue, am I correct? Thanks and keep up the great videos.

Hello, thanks for taking time to check out our video. I understand what you’re referring to and where the hinge point is for accessing the storage. However, I have not had any experience during the ownership of our EKKO with feeling the hinge or any of the bolts in our hip area. Not has my wife. It’s difficult for me to imagine how much the mattress could be compressed at this point to allow for this situation. Not to say it is not possible, but it doesn’t seem to be a factor for us with or without the new mattress. Let me know if you have any further questions.

I also saw that video by that other KZbinr and I don't understand how he could feel the hinge when the mattress sits on top of the Froli box spring system and so the mattress never actually comes in contact with the hinge.

I travel solo and am interested in just ordering the passenger side mattress but according to the Roam Rest website I have to order both sides and middle section. So it is looking like this guy will not be a Roam Rest customer as I refuse to order something that I don't need. I am also in Canada which means I don't get free shipping.

Great video! Our stock mattresses are already showing signs of wear so looking for an upgrade. The Roam Rest looks like a quality product. How do the firmness options of the RR compare to the stock EKKO mattress. Trying to decide on which option to purchase. Thanks and keep up the great content!
