Glad it all worked out in the end. You can remove that axle nut with large vice grips or adjustable wrench. The nut should only be on finger tight. After snugging it up, while turning the wheel, then backing it off, and retighten to finger tight. Always carry two sets of wheel bearings and seals plus grease when towing ! Take care, stay safe, great videos !

I live at Clam Beach park. Don't think I saw you when you were here. There's a mobile RV repair guy here that you could have called. The mexican locals here are also pretty ingenious at repairs. All over baja, the local people are friendly, eager to help, and extremely resourceful.

just recently discovered your channel, and am enjoying your videos from your Baja trip awhile back. I notice that you were towing without any weight distribution hitch. Did you have any towing issues or issues with sway? Looking forward to follow some more of your videos. safe travels....

Thanks for watching! We never use a WDH with this truck and trailer combo. It’s a pretty small trailer so we didn’t feel the need and never had any issues with sway.

Mike, I’m curious, did you service the inner bearing? You did the outer bearing but unable to determine if you did the inner hub bearing which is as important as the outer bearing. You need a “drift” and a mallet to get that inner bearing out of the hub along with the bearing seal. Hope all is well. Garth

I didn’t because the guides I was following for servicing them said that you’ll usually destroy the inner bearing seal when opening it and need to replace. And I didn’t have a way to get a replacement at that time. I should do it soon though! Thanks for the reminder
