RV Slide Adjustment Part 2

Normally I do not leave comments. However I Strongly felt the need to thank you for showing how to adjust the slide out. I’ve been having problems with my slide out and I’ve watched about 10 or more how to’s. Not to take away from them, because I appreciate anyone who takes the time to make an educational video to help others. Yours was just short and simple and it just helped to connect the dots. Made everything come together so to speak. I appreciate it and look forward to turning to your channel in an event I need help figuring something out!

I spoke to a Lippert Tech last week during the Alliance Rally. He said the gap between to bolts on the hydraulic piston is standard and should not be tight up agents the plate. Don’t sandwich the bolts up agents the plate, do make sure you have the outside bolt adjusted properly. The nylon nut should be past the end like in the video. Lippert is very responsive and there tech’s are amazing. Give them a call if you have specific questions. Thanks for watching!

Mine were lose also. I didn't know about leveling the slide. BIG THANKS for this video. Gave me the confidence to make these adjustments..

Use silicone based lube as it doesn't attract road dust to keep parts moving smooth. Good thought on keeping rust off the bolts. I had to adjust mine needed penetrating oil to assist with loosing up the nuts. If I had keep up with them a silicone lubricant?
