To all new RV buyers out there thinking of buying a new RV, do your research before you buy your next RV. When I bought this trailer I thought I looked over everything on the trailer even climbing on the roof and inspecting it, but, to my surprise, the trailer had a lot of hidden defects I didn’t notice as a first time RV buyer.

You pulled in the slide when it was raining. Most of that water was sitting on top of the slide out. As for the separation near the seal, that is definitely a problem.

Mine is the salem version of the same camper. We are having the same issue only when it's closed. Never open. Did you find a solution to the problem? Be careful stepping on the slide when closed because ours is sagging in the middle and ripped up our floor. Had to fix it myself because dealer wouldn't.
