What is the reason to change actuator at the first place, My slideout is stuck open want close manual crank doesn't work either just keeps turning , Motor works but nothing is happening, Any help would be deeply appreciated, Good Bless 🇺🇸

For my particular model and setup, the actuator is what would pull it in or out. My motor was working just fine, but the actuator was stripped and needed replaced.

My adjuster came oit of something maybe the motor gear not sure. Bit my one slide bar you cam woggle it and its not secure. Mine has the carboard under the rig so you cant see anything. Woukd i need to cut that open so i can see where it connects to the motor? Maybe take the nuts loose also

LIked the vid, question, did the actuator come with the coupling spacer clutch that the motor drive box slides into?

1. How did you determine the problem was the actuator and not the motor/gear box? 2. What were the symptoms? What was it doing when not working?

The motor would run and spin, and the actuator would not rotate and push the slide out. That how I narrowed it dow to the actuator. I was reading that it was common for my particular camper to have the actuator go out before her motor.

It took a while but your video describes my problem, but a question i have is. Did it make a popping noise as you were taking out the slide and bring it back in. It seem like its coming from that pinionshaft. Thanks
