I have lived in a trailer most of my life and I am 66 years old. Live in a trailer right now and what has always made where I live home is the people/pets I share it with. My husband passed away June 3 2017 so my 4 dogs and 3 cats keep me company and Wilbur my bird. You are so fortunate to have each other

Just passed on your channel link to a lady that is renovating a tiny mobile. I passed on the info you show about installing a stacked washer/dryer. It impressed me so much that I couldn't help but suggest her to look at how you did it. Thanks for the tour. Great video.

Ya'll are sweet people, I have been able to watch several of your videos, I have all respect for you doing what you did, after such a tough time in your life, your very smart for living in a tiny home. And being as self sufficient as possible, people our age don't need big places to take care of, and have so much money invested, going out the door, Mr. Brown and I love our small 1 bedroom cabin we built to retire in, we are very comfortable, less is best, we raised a house full of kids, it's just the 2 of us, we don't need much, we hear with wood, our electric runs about 60.00 a month, we have a well, the kids come, we pile up, eat, talk, and are just fine, God Bless you both, you make it work, I say, great job!

Hi folks! I live in a 24 foot '93 Prowler camp trailer that I renovated. Bought it for $500. Been in it for only 2 years, moving out of an old Winnebago m/h. (2 years) Previously lived in a 30 ft. Piver trimaran sail boat (5 years). One thing that I have found, counterspace is/ can be, a luxury, I am sure you know. One suggestion: hang the microwave oven next to your stove vent. Looks to me, from here, a perfect fit. During my Prowler renovation, I was always saying "for $20, I would set this thing on fire!" Can you relate? The roof was gone, the floor was gone, no heat, no water, previously owned by a smoker, all the plastic (shower, sink, toilet) was yellowed. All told, I have about $1500 in my tiny house/ trailer/ rv, whatever. I call it: home. When I show the before and after pictures, people ask, "why didn't you just get a new one?" I always tell them "and miss out on getting all that experience?". And we all know that "experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted". But, really, as you know also, that a renovation let's you make things the way that you want/need. Not someone elses wants/needs. Take care! And God Bless!😁😁😁

I've watched you two forever... from the beginning! I love what you've done to make the RV your very own tiny cozy home. I just thought today as I was watching your tour, that wouldn't it be neat to have a covered area from your front door over to the woodshed area??? Then.. in the winter, with tons of snow, you'd have a snow free area (basically unless the wind blows) to walk from the front door to get your firewood. Just a thought... and a covered porch is always nice when it's raining or snowing. I'm sure you've thought of it too! You two are both so industrious and innovative!

I thought you'd like to know that because you have mentioned that you are not loving it. But I think it's lovely and matches your tiny cottage nicely, 🤗

I REALLY LIKE YOUR PLACE, YOU'VE DONE SUCH GREAT WORK IN MAKING THE CHANGES NEEDED FOR IT TO FILL EACH OF YOUR NEEDS. LIKE YOU ELIZABETH I'VE RARELY HAD A BED THAT COULD BE WALKED AROUND. I'VE HAD SEVERAL TRAVEL TRAILERS FROM 14ft to 35ft. YOU GUYS ARE SO RIGHT ABOUT HOW LITTLE WE TRULY NEED TO HAVE A GOOD HAPPY LIFE. THE STORAGE IN YOUR HOME IS FANTASTIC. I LIKE TO STAY STOCKED UP ON FOOD AND SUPPLIES. CANNED FOODS HAVE SO MUCH WATER CONTENT THAT ADDS TO THE WEIGHT WE CARRY IN VANS AND RVs. I'VE SEEN SOME OF YOUR THRIVE VIDEOS INCLUDING COOKING WITH THRIVE AND I'M INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE ABOUT THEIR PRODUCTS. MY MAIN CONCERN IS THE SHELF LIFE AFTER THE CANS ARE OPENED. I'M A WIDOWED GRANDMOTHER AND CURRENTLY LIVE IN A 1 BEDROOM APT. DOWN SIZING IS A TOP PRIORITY. I HAVE 4 STORAGE UNITS THAT I'M GETTING RID OF AND IT TAKES SOME TIME TO DO IT. MY GOAL IS TO TURN MY 1998 GMC SAFARI HIGHTOP CONVERSION VAN INTO A CAMPER VAN WITH SOME SOLAR POWER. HOWEVER IT WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO PLUG INTO SHORE POWER WHEN I NEED IT TO. I HAVE A 2004 ALINER HARD SIDE POP UP TRAVEL TRAILER THAT I WILL TOW AND USE WHEN I PLAN TO STAY SEVERAL DAYS IN ONE PLACE. A MEMBER ON A VAN DWELLERS FORUM SAID I HAVE A "CONDOMINIUM" I GUESS BECAUSE THE ALINERS ROOF HAS A 8ft TALL PEAK WHEN IT'S SET UP. I HAVE RECENTLY LEARNED THAT MANY WOODEN TINY HOUSES ARE BUILT ON TRAILERS BECAUSE IN SOME AREAS ONLY THE TRAILER NEEDS TO BE TITLED AND LICENSED OR INSPECTED. ALSO THAT SOME MOBILE HOME PARKS WILL ACCEPT A "TINY HOUSE' AND NOT A RV OR TRAVEL TRAILER. THE TINY HOUSES THAT I'VE SEEN SEEM TO BE VERY HEAVY AND CAN COST UP TO 50K OR 70K. NOT TOO MANY PEOPLE THAT I KNOW CAN AFFORD ONE LIVING ON ONLY SS BENEFITS. ON YOU TUBE I'VE SEEN A TOUR OF A TINY HOUSE THAT WASN'T TOO COSTLY TO BUILD SET UP IN A RV PARK { I THINK IT WAS A RV PARK } IN FLORIDA. IT WAS A NICE LOT WITH TREES AND FLOWERS PLANTED AROUND IT.

Thrive Life food is great for RV or van life because (1) it's lightweight, and (2) it doesn't need refrigeration. It has a 25 year self life, and AFTER you open the can it has a one year shelf life. So if you're worried about using it all, just get the smaller pantry cans, then you have a year to use it. A tiny house is TINY because if it is built on a trailer there is no inspection required from the local building inspector, and if it is under 400 sq ft, there is no building code inspections. If it's OVER 400 sq ft then there are manufactured housing (mobile home) building codes and inspections that must be followed. And yes, they are very heavy. The are NOT RV's. They can be moved with a BIG truck, but you wouldn't want to travel with one.

I remembered your first video. So nice to see you smiling and happy. I love tiny house living. Our cabin is under 400 square feet. And some people might call our home a shed but it feels like home. You have a beautiful home. The siding will look good. You have a nice yard. It’s not too close to your neighbor. Your home is comfortable and that’s what home needs to be. Your kitchen is very efficient. It’s obvious your a great cook. You can tell by how organized your kitchen is. The stackable washer and Dryer are awesome. We use them when we go on vacation to Florida. The condo has a stackable washer and dryer. I run them everyday. It’s perfect, all you need. You both have worked together like a fine tuned clock to make your home perfect. And your kitty certainly likes it. God bless you. Leslye

Thank you so kindly for the tour of your lovely home! It doesn't matter that it's small (tiny), it's enough, and comfortable and very personalized to the two of you! It was very nice of Leo to put up with strangers traipsing via video through his domain. Bill, you have done such a nice job of turning an unlivable place into a cozy, comfy home, while Elizabeth has added all those women's touches to it. What a wonderful thing that you both had the skills necessary to make the RV Tinyhouse into a real home to enjoy and feel safe and comfortable in. God less you and keep you safe and sound in such a beautiful home!

Say. I love tiny. Living simple thats me. You have a tiny house. A house is not a home unless you have something in it. You have a home now. Its just a different style of a home love it. We dont have a house just a 700 sq. Ft. Apt. You both. Are so do good. Uou have worked so very hard. God has really been more than good. He is no. 1. Always. What a doll house. I wish we could of been there to help you. My husband is a painter and handyman. We would certainly been there for you. We dont no anything about a computer. I love baseboard heat. Heat rises. It pays to buy the best insulation for condinsation. Love. The arrangement. Easy to clean. Washer and dryer. Wow. Wow. Wow. Arent you good or what. Love the under ground. Plumbing. Maybe electrical under ground wiring. Electrical hot water heater. The light switches is perfect. Wow. Extra storage under the bed. Perfect. Hi leo. You are handsome. Love the add on. Sunroom. So good. Beautiful. A good idea to do window tinting for sunlight. Love you both. I just ran across the video. Sure enjoyed seeing you. May god bless. You have came a long way.

There is one way you could enjoy your room in the winter without Any renovations. A regular sized wood stove would heat that with no problem. Even if there are cracks for air, the warm air pushes outward. I use wood heat, for a single room, even if it isn't insulated, a wood stove will run you out if you have the coals. Just a comment, not necessarily a suggestion if you aren't into getting another wood stove.

Thank you for the tour. The thing that determines how well people do in times of difficulty is their attitude and how they view their situation. If you constantly think about what you have lost and feel sorry for yourself because you don't have what you used to have, then you will just be a miserable victim. People like you two who pick yourselves up and make a plan and do whatever you can to improve your lives and are grateful for the things you have will always be champions.

I have watched a few other R.V. youtube clips and know that keeping them warm is always an issue and FYI many people R buying those cheap windscreen solar covers and cutting pieces out to fit their R.V. windows. They just squish them in the window sill and night and take them out in the morning........I think all up the cost for the material is $5 to $10 dollars. U can still have your roll down blinds but slotting these pieces of solar cover in at night really keeps the warmth in........Don't take tips from me but all the other R.V. channels that ALL say to do this.

Other RVers are all mobile and need to be concerned with driving down the road. We are permanent on our land, so I made permanent (removable in the Spring) glass INTERIOR storm windows that work much better than reflextics or any of those other temporary solutions.

Hi, thank you so much for this video! I’ve been hoping for an updated tour. God bless you guys And I really love your home and minimalism and organization. I was wondering if you know if the width of your trailer is the same as a cargo trailer at 8.5 feet wide. I was thinking of buying one and having it built out. But I want to get an idea of what The width would look like

The exterior width is 8 feet. Inside is 7.5 feet. And the we have a 2 foot bump out in the living room where the recliners are.
