Finally someone actually shows the removal of the toilet, replacement of the seal, and re-install. Thank you for actually doing and showing it instead of just talking about it. Many thanks

Thanks for a great install video. I was surprised that it was easier than I thought it would be. The antifreeze is a great idea. Looking forward to more videos.

Thank you for this video. One of my bolts came loose on my Thetford. Your video showed how they might be reset without me having to remove the entire unit. Saved lots of time!

Very cool I appreciate the time spent giving a step by step approach. I've got a foot pedal toilet in my trailer and it's a love/hate as the lever is bound to break eventually as you gotta put some pressure from your foot and if you're drunk or something it just doesn't last long. So now I see this is easier replacing than a toilet inside a house good to know.

Lucky you that the bolts were visible. On my four the bolts are hidden and you need a two foot socket extension to get the back one out. I need to replace mine also and think I'll get the five. Thanks for sharing.

I hate when they build stuff so its hard to work on. You should never need to weasel into super tight spots making a simple job take ten times longer. Get the 5 its nice!

Mine foot valve just failed. Lucky I was here to avoid a major flood! Thanks for the video, it looks like an easy (if unpleasant) job. What is the purpose of the silicone around the base? It seems to me that the system is sealed internally. Upon inspection, there is no sealant around the base of mine and it has been there for 14+ years without issue. As a matter of fact, I am glad there was no sealant. I was aware of the leaky foot (flush and fill) valve before the base filled with water avoiding a much worse flood.

I'm going to do the samething as you, just replace the tollet,, So far I'm not sure how many studs that hold the tollet down yet,, they are hidden,, I live in my 5th wheel full time and winter is just around the corner, I won't buy a tollet from CL,, LOL,, thanks

You can get replacement parts for it. But the new toilets are garbage.
@SuperJwilson122 жыл бұрын
Why are they garbage.
@joyceobeys68182 жыл бұрын
@@SuperJwilson12 They break more often, cheaply made. But they sell more parts and make more money. It’s good for them.
