We wanted to know if the GVWR is definitely under 5,700? On the Coachman site we thought it said 7,600. We really love this design,but would like to find something less than 5,700 or even lighter. We are researching new SUV's that may be able to tow something similar. Can you confirm the GVWR, Any recommendations of any SUV's with that towing capacity? Much appreciated we enjoy your videos and we have just stumbled upon your channel looking at campgrounds and rvs. Thank you so much.

Hi Paulette! We are showing the GVWR based on what we are told from Coachmen. However, you should always read the sticker on the actual RV you are looking to purchase. When it comes to your tow vehicle, we are not experts. However, we always encourage more towing capacity than you think you will need. There are a lot of factors that go into towing capacity (and tongue weight). From gas in the tank, to water in your tanks, to people in your vehicle, to all the stuff you want to carry, it all adds up fast. You never want to be at your max towing capacity. I hope that helps. Nice improvements to the 265RBSS. Like the speaker and the 12v fridge with the solar add. Our older version didn’t come with the griddle which is a great add. It came with some freaky Coleman grill things. I would like some sort of 12v fridge in The outside kitchen. Not sure how that 120v dorm fridge will work boondocking with the solar. We haven’t found the best answer yet. Great video. We love our 265RBSS

Great rig! All these things coming standard will really safe money down the line on mods. But who are we kidding - we will always find something to change. lol. A must for our next rig is opposing slides.
