We are a family of 5 about to enter into this RV life soon! Our oldest is 4 and our youngest is brand new. How do you put your kids to sleep during naps and bedtime and can you keep them asleep? Any concerns with / ideas about safety with the bottom bunk for a one year old? Would love to hear your advice!

Oh how exciting!! And scary right?! We no longer have this travel trailer but when we did both boys slept on the bottom. I did have a travel type bed (kind of like a pack n play) but we didn't really use it. And we also co-slept so he would climb in bed with us when he was younger. We have a fifth wheel now and the youngest is almost 4 so he sleeps on a bottom bunk in his room. There are also side rails you can buy that I have seen a lot of families use in their RVs too!

Hey! RV life has gave us so many things and taught us so so much. Our lives are forever changed. Even though it was super hard at times, its def not for everyone, and we definitely had those moments of "what are we doing?!", we don't regret any of it. I hope that helps. 🧡

Hey! We traveled in this for 8 months. Now we have the 5th wheel but don't travel as often like before. My husband is a veteran and we basically lived off of that while we traveled. Yep! It was a storm party! lol Definitely made the storm less scary. I have found that it is much easier to stay organized when you're only working with 300 square feet 😂 The RV came with the stone wall paper, but the one above our bed and above the stove are peel and stick. We are looking to go full time RVing in the next 3 years once I am able to retire from the military and we are weighing the pros and cons, especially since I have a 9yo boy who is in football and a 6 yo girl who loves gymnastics. How have you handled schooling and and gatherings with other kids? and also, do you stay stationary in one place or do you bounce between locations?

We were concerned about that too, but you will find that the RV community is amazing. And we joined Fulltime Families and that has helped a lot too. When we first started in 2019 we moved every 3-5 days! Now we are changing paces a bit and will be stationary for a little while before heading back out again!

Hey!! When we were in this RV there was a door to the room, and we used white noise machines. And kids still go to bed like normal LOL We also would sometimes put the kids to bed and watch a movie, talk, or go sit outside and catch up.
