RV Travel - Things to Do in Oklahoma City, Museums, Sports, Outdoor Fun and More! A Great Visit.

Oklahoma City is a great spot to park the RV for several days to weeks. The assortment of activities to do outside is incredible- from beautiful parks, bird watching, sporting events, the zoo... the list goes on and on. There are lakes to bike and hike around or to fish. After Memorial Day the Boathouse area opens for surfing, rafting, kayaking and other water sports - the area is amazing.

If you have a rainy day hit up the museums - The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum is awesome. We could have spent an entire day wandering around. It is a must see stop.
There are also many other wonderful things to see - First Americans Museum, Science Museum, Jim Thorpe Museum and there is a beautiful Art Museum just to list a few.
We really enjoyed our visit to this wonderful growing city with so much to offer. We actually have two posts from our visit here and next week is the visit to all the outside fun! I feel like we barely scratched the surface and we will definitely be back.
