They make an RV water heater flush wand that might help a little. I bought a used RV that must have been sitting on their lot for who knows how long. Finally got it clean using a wooden dowel rod and the wand. Never drove pulling an RV before, they hooked up my used, 31ft 5th wheel after installing the bed hitch, and said, Good bye. The dealers are great until you take possession of it. Then their interest is in the next sale. Not all of them but it seems a lot of them. Good luck. and thanks for the reminder.

I habe a seasonal site,and I just change out the anode every spring when I open up,it's never gotten that worn down though i

No, you shouldn’t worry about it because there’s no tank to sanitize

There is a brush that is long you can buy to clean out the hole and everything in it

Put 2 gallons of vinegar in the tank for 12 hours. It eats all the calcium buildup

I flush, treat, replace rod, and till stinks after a few days....
