I am with you 100%. I have commented before about that having worked food prep/ restaurants for years and being Serve-safe certified. I won't go into the amount of bacteria that you most certainly don't want in your food prep area that would occur with the only sink being in the kitchen. Hell I would have a sink JUST for handwashing in the kitchen if I could. I know WAY too much about cross contamination to ever have just one sink!

However… after watching this there’s such a thing as too 🤬 small 😊 Each of these are wonderful for weekends, but would be hell for a two week or longer traveling vacation. Most people hate going to the bathrooms in the middle of the night. Try that in the Everglades and you may get bitten by a snake in the middle of the night. So a porta potti is a great way to have a convenient camping trip! Thanks for sharing! Mike

In a smaller Camper Trailer you most likely use the Bathhouse shower he camper trailer toilet in the night that one with 2 stools & a table & din-net I would use a mattress on the top for more comfortable sleeping then take out the under bar storage for more leg room get too nicer stools with backs could be a nice low cost option for camping towing with a compact CUV

That little counter is a good place to use museum wax to hold containers with lids for storing items. The museum wax would be strong so you could leave things on the counter while towing.

@@RVBlogger you are very welcome. It really works well. And, it doesn’t do damage when you want to move the item. Just give the item a good twist and it will come loose then run some dental floss under the wax. Plus it’s reusable.

Hi Mike and Susan! I like the Forest River Viking Saga. It seemed spacious. Liked the bar stool so you can look out the window as your eating or working on your computer.I would fold the dinette down to a bed and keep it like that because it would be too hard to keep folding g it down into a bed and the up for a dinette a lot. The last one the Coachmen was too narrow. Shower too small. And water would be all over the floor with that curtain. Thank you Mike and Susan. Hope you have a great week.

Hi Kim, Seems like a 50/50 mix of opinions on the bathroom vanity. And these are all pretty tight. But when you can only tow 4,000 including all of you gear and supplies these are what you get. But they can be great weekend adventure campers. Thanks again for watching and commenting! Mike

The Clipper 12000 ROK looks to be a pretty decent camper, love the outdoor kitchen. I think the big mistake they made with this trailer is that they did NOT include a propane heater and instead used an electric heater. Not all campgrounds offer power and sometimes the nights do get a bit cool. I think on the 2025 model they should take and put in a propane heater. It is also interesting that here in Canada, this trailer is called the Forest River Viking 12000 ROK
@RVBlogger3 ай бұрын
You are right about the heat source in the Clipper. Propane would be a great fuel source esp when boondocking. We have noticed many duplicate floor plans in the RV industry so it doesn't surprise us that both Coachmen and Forest River have identical 12000ROK models, not to mention Forest River owns Coachmen. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!

Thanks Susan and Mike, good reviews. All three looked cramped (for me), too tall. The toilet issue; when you gotta go, you gotta go. The WC vanity issue; there's usually a shower right there, use it. How dirty do people get using the toilet? The third one; that's a 9k jump in price without justification, silly WC but oh, a hot plate outside? I suppose there's a market for these in a small segment. I'll catch up soon I hope on your recent past videos. Have been traveling recently to different countries. Thanks and stay safe.

What I have noticed looking at these small camper's compared to back in 2006 when I was looking at a ton of small campers is that today they are built minimal n cheap looking. Like you're lucky if u get cabinet doors (a cheap shot by these manufacturers with these stupid net cubby holes 🙄, super cheesy cheap!), n minimal storage! and limited windows. (Except last one had good windows). One camper with a non-fixed table that's to dam low that u do have to anchor in travel somehow! Like no consideration 🙄. And Bathrooms with zero proper storage or medicine cabinets. Cheap cheap cheap! One without proper shower wall liner, cheap! And if anyone saw any class B camper vans made overseas in Germany and area they have nice compact functional shower bathrooms with storage! These small campers here remind me of the first popup tent campers with super minimal anything except beds. If anyone saw small travel trailers in early yr 2000's, u can see the price has gone up substantially and what u get is minimal cheap now. Very sad, rv manufacturers are going backwards to the basics n minimal design as if these were caveman's first rv. Zero innovation. Very disappointing all of em. (But this is not a reflection on u guys, you're a lovely couple! 🤗) 🍻
@RVBlogger5 ай бұрын
LOL! Tell us how you really feel! Honestly though - you aren't wrong. The two biggest RV manufacturers are traded on the stock exchange so what does that mean? It means they have to find ways to improve profits quarter over quarter and year over year. This results in what is called Value Engineering which is a fancy tern for lower the build cost to improve profits. This isn't just for RVs either - value engineering is used in every industry to give the consumer less while charging more. But all that being said, prices are coming down and there are some good RVs still out there. Thanks for watching and for your honest opinion! Mike

@@RVBlogger lol. Can't hold it back lol. I have stocks, but no way would I ever consider buying into the rv industry. It's such a shame- yeah I know what they're doing. (Kidding, i have a truck camper now, Northern lite, perfect for me, n well made at least, and oh, it looks like the one u were in awhile ago Mike, u liked, they r a camper u have to see in person, web pics don't show the love lol) 🍻
