"Pull off, climb in the RV, take a nap"...yeah, not so much for us. Our 45' fifth-wheel toy hauler is great for a lot of things, but not that. We have five slides: two opposing up front for the kitchen, two opposing in the middle for the living room, and one aft in the bedroom for a wardrobe. The middle right slide, which I'm sitting at now (has my desk, my four computers, multi screens, etc.) is aft the entry door, and blocks access to the upper aft section, meaning the bathroom and bedroom. If we can find a place with a bit of room on the right, and level enough, we can extend that one slide and get to the bedroom and bathroom, but otherwise, the RV is kind of useless in parking lot situations. Another model we'd looked at had a similar problem, but then the manufacturer shifted that slide forward, and the entry door aft, and solved it. That meant no access to the kitchen though, so like everything else in the RV world, it's a compromise.

I love cooking with lump charcoal and no fluid like my dad used, but it’s kind of a process for cooking for only one. In fact, the charcoal starter chimney I use for charcoal became a grill in itself but just setting a grate over it. My Weber history started with taking two grills off the curb left out for trash at different times, the burners were fine, I replaced the flavorizer bars and got stainless steel grated for both of them. One at home and one at camp. I gave them away when I sold the house and went with portable stuff. I got the mini smoker, mini smokey Joe, a Q, and a smally rectangular gas job.

I agree on it being a process for 1 because it's kind of that way for 2.. But our propane grill was charing everything I cooked.. I grilled hamburgers on the Weber the other day, they tasted like they were smoked and best of all they weren't burnt in 3-4 minutes lol.

Never thought about the extra water from a dormer. Glad I decided to stick with shingles instead of the roof but it does look nice.

Mike / Heidi, the roof looks great, I personally don’t care if a roof is metal or asphalt. I like the appearance of both. My roof is asphalt, but it was put on a few years ago, plus I have solar on top of that now. Overall, it basically it says I metal or asphalt just as long as you both enjoy it that is really matters.

our gutters do not work well when it rains hard. They are new, but the steep slope on the back of our home overwhelms the gutters. A contractor said we need wider gutters to defeat that problem. AS far as the metal roof is concerned, yours looks great. The cost for them here is very expensive compared to shingled roofs here in NYS. IT was hard to get anyone to install a metal roof here. They said it would look out of place with the other homes around. So we had a good shingled roof installed. BTW, love the longer videos. Sometimes I forget it may be a month ago when you started the video, lol. The horn guy lol, I would have said Why the hell are you beeping your horn in my Driveway, did i have a date with you? Get the hell out. Im really a nice guy, BUT. State hospitals ARE UNDERRATED.

@@Rvdaydream they often put a piece of flashing in corners of gutter where a roof valley concentrates a lot of water, maybe something similar could be done instead of raising the gutters.

I think it would be more involved than that sense it is below grade I would have to add a lift pump of some kind.

I think the roof looks great too, and as long as you and Heidi are happy with it, I am happy to fam! Davy Tree will Davy Crocket please fix our fence, its holly blessed, big holes, needs fixed. HEHE Mike, I love the idea of a studio down there, you just need to put down some shop carpet, and acoustic panels on walls to remove echo. Always a sucker trying to make a quick buck off the marketplace. When it rains, it pours, right over the gutter, and onto your head, now thats a shower! Oh I don't like that shady dude at all. He has the freedom to travel, but not to harass. Mike's vivid description of him being treated like the girl who is ready to get picked up by her man honk honk, ROFLMAO! 🤣 The guy who likes to honk all the time, he's what mama always called, Bad News, he wants more then a look, he wants the complete package. Good thing you got all that security, you freaking need it now! Heidi looks good in uniform, she's the boss, everybody knows now, good. lol Oh my gosh, I really love your new grill, its so nice! I have the traditional smaller Weber grill like you guys used to use as well.
