It amazes me that long stretches of the coast of Oregon remain virtually unconsumed.., no condo’s, strip malls etc. I to... want to move there. Thanks Russ 👊😎

If we all move to Oregon, we'll be creating what we're trying to get away from!!!!😉😁😆

@@martyrose well there are no rentals at this point so unless someone is prepared to buy a house they won't be moving in :-) Not a lot of raw land in curry country for sale at any given time so not much new building of any kind commercial or residential.

@@Tatiacha Thanks! I was kidding. I'm not going anywhere until I can get my loose ends tied up here anyway. Fall if Im lucky.🤞

Great shots. On the coast, it doesn't pay to be an early riser. The fog starts burning off about mid-morning and is pretty much gone by noon. That landslide was in February. So it's taken them four months to get the road back to what you saw.

Arch rock is stunning Oregon can spoil you when it comes to state parks and camping wow nothing can beat it when it comes to Oregon coast five stars all the way ya..

The Hooskanadan slide area is always moving they have to do repairs every year but it is usually a dip crack of several inches they patch over a couple times a year not taking out the whole road! It was three lanes there was a whole passing lane in there. After the initial slide they couldn't do anything for a time because it was moving many feet per day.

What a glorious place to be. We took a trip to Washington, Oregon and northern California several years ago. It's hard to explain to anyone how beautiful Oregon is. You have done a beautiful job with the drone and walking the trails. Those roads surrounded by trees looks to me as if I'm riding through a grove of Christmas trees. We were surprised when we stayed at a hotel on the coast that they had no air conditioning, they didn't need it. Coming from the Georgia heat and humidity, that's heaven!

Russ, Harris Beach /Brookings, Oregon is a diamond in the rough. I will definitely be staying there next time I travel up the Coast to Oregon. It's no coincidence that the morning fog/afternoon sun is just like down here where I live a couple of miles from the Pacific Ocean near Pacifica, California 🌤 Finally, beautiful drone footage considering the high winds you were flying in.
