I have a IPhone 6, and if you can "pan" slowly, with a steady hand, it's not bad. The only downfall is if you zoom in the video mode...then it get grainy...Are they using a gimbal?

Are you finding you are using the Canon "point and shoot" over the Canon 80D DSLR? Looking at cameras now, as well as drones. :) Like the Phanton 4?

+Brenda Megel it's funny you would ask this of all days. Just today I shipped off the PowerShot G7X back to Canon because it has dust behind the lens. It's so bad you can see specks in any bright light. However Canon is standing behind their product and shipping is a new G7X to replace the one we bought because there is no way to correct the problem. We do love the new point and shoot but I find I don't take as many candid shots with my phone anymore so our Instagram account is lacking. However Gary had taken over the DSLR and is improving everyday with his shots. I am trying to incorporate them more into our videos.

Did you use the new camera in this video at all? And does the new camera has video stabilization in it? Beautiful scenery now, but get out of there come winter!

Yes as we started our drive down to Healy we were using the new camera. And yes it has stabilization in it. I am still trying to find the perfect settings for vlogging with it. It is a learning curve for sure.

+golfnut yes both Xscapers and Escapees can sign up for hops. We've never done a hop but we love to attend Convergences. In fact Gary and I are hosting one starting this weekend for a week up here in Alaska.
