Thank you for the tour. I especially enjoyed hearing about your parents and especially your mother and how involved she was in the business. I loved hearing she traveled with your dad. Seeing her later in home videos with Jonas, would never have that she liked traveling.

Great adventure Elvie. Thank you for taking us along. I have traveled to some overpopulated cities around the world, but my wife and I felt like Fairbanks, AL was underpopulated. Im from the south so Im used to southern hospitality. We found little in Fairbanks. My wife theorized people are short on sleep. Enjoy.

Nice video, a great walk down memory lane. I’m amazed your dad built that beautiful large log home in Fairbanks, at my age, 30 years ago. Maybe we could get a fundraiser going to give that family and log home a real log staircase , possibly by auction time in May. Thank you for awesome videos.😊

Excellent PR for the company to show a 30+ year old log home that is still in great condition in such a demanding environment. I bet the outside is still sturdy and shows NO sign of deterioration in spite of the harsh winters. Take care, Elvie.

Valley’s are ok, but pine tree covered mountains are Beautiful. God certainly knew how to create a beautiful earth for us. I called Meadowlark today and gave her my phone number to give to you so that when y’all get to Yakima in a few months, y’all can come up and visit. I’ve got a men’s retreat in mid April, but otherwise we’ll be available to show you around our mountainous area

G-day Elvie it James from Australia some road trip my friend it always great to go back see ones finished work and how much people aprecate it good workmanship.I can go back a little than you because most of my Plasterwork was on Embasses and Public Building it interesting to go back after fifty years see and find its still there I tell people to wear a hardhat when walking under any of my Ornamental mouldwork and such (thats a joke by the way) I have to admitt I still get a kick when they say you did all that, I yes but I was only one out four or five that worked on it at the time. And we were all lot younger.I thought that may give you something read You take care my friend in God we trust.✌👍

I lived on Anderson Island for many years. I’d take the ferry to and from the mainland every day to go to work at Western State Hospital (WSH). WSH is the 2nd largest mental health hospital in America. I retired from there and moved my happy butt out of the Left and in the Right place in north central Washington state.

Elvie i seen a video where you went and stained the customers cabin 2 years later after the build could you please let me know what the product you used and the final coat with the bug juice and explain how it works? Do you charge per sq ft for applying or how do you charge to have you refinish a guys home? Very interested.
@AmishMeadowsOfficial10 ай бұрын
Our main product, and the one that I recommend is called Timber Pro. We mix the desired color and BugJuice into the Timber Pro which is a plant-based product. You can contact the Meadowlark office and talk to Ben and they can quote and schedule the refinish for your project. Each video has a phone number and link below to contact the office.

How was the road from Haines Junction north to the Alaskan border? When i drove it last summer that stretch was easily the worst pot-holed road i ever drove on.
@AmishMeadowsOfficial10 ай бұрын
All highways were completely smooth with no almost no bumps, and no potholes. I think in the winter it fills with snow and freezes solid so it’s nice and smooth.
@pcmiller032410 ай бұрын
@@AmishMeadowsOfficial I guess traveling that stretch in the winter would have at least one advantage then! Btw, even though we've never met, I'm your second cousin. My dad (Menno MIller) was your dad's first cousin and were about the same age growing up together in N. Indiana. Interestingly, my dad was not only your dad's first cousin but also your mom's first cousin, through his other grandparents. After my dad passed away several years ago we discovered in his papers a number of letters from your dad written back in 1976-77 in the early days of Rexford. My dad was a minister and your dad was encouraging my dad to move out to Rexford. My folks visited your family several times but ultimately never moved there. They ended up moving to Hale MI instead where I grew up with a whole bunch of your 1st cousins. I often chuckle at Joas' videos as often sounds so much like some of your cousins.

In the next video, which posts in a few days, you will see the constant -30 and 40°F. caused the truck’s emission system to freeze and caused some problems. but the issues went away when the weather warmed to 0 F..
