Thanks for doing this video. I potentially will be moving into a vehicle and I've done a hypothetical budget. I've asked other vehicle dwellers what they spend in a month and I always get the same answer. They always say that everybody's situation is different and they won't do a video saying how much they spend. I understand that everybody's situation is different but it helps to hear what someone else is spending a month because that lets me know if I've overlooked something and if I'm in the ballpark with my estimated budget. Thank you.

You do a nice job helping people understand the ins and outs of camping on the fly. I will say that part of the reason I got my E-pro 19FD was because of your videos. I haven't really hit the road yet because the camper is so new. But you've helped me break into the hobby? since I was thinking of Scamp to begin with. I just couldn't deal with the wait time on the order of a new Scamp. So i went after a different option. Either way, I admire you for being able to just take off and do what you love to do. The apprehension of leaving my comfortable home is still something I need to break through. But thanks for all the time (and money) you spend to keep giving us updates on how you make it all happen. I always look forward to your videos.

We have a 6x10' cargo trailer conversion that we haven't started traveling in yet, but if we translated what you spend with what we will probably spend (adding some because there are two of us), we would come out pretty close to what you spend. Our "splurge" is organic food, so that makes a small difference; but I can't remember the last time we ate out... several years, at least. We are minimalists and like it that way! Happy trails! ~ Kir (and Ron)

Good on you! I'm living in a converted 6x 12 cargo trailer myself. . I did it up rustic style with cedar fence pickets on the wall and ceiling with insulation underneath, cast iron hooks and iron water pipe for my curtain rod. My lighting is white Christmas lights vs LEDs running the perimeter of the ceiling. I have a lava lamp and my tube amp inside I'm in a campground north of Houston paying $350pm. I have a house in the Philippines which I plan to retire to, so I'm keeping it minimalist in the US. I'm loving it. I fly small RC helicopters, watch movies and Netflix. I have family 20 miles away and a good church a few minutes from the campground. 12.5 years of OTR trucking taught me how to thrive in small places. I have a fridge, microwave, hotplate, coffee and espresso pot. I'm blessed!

I too eat organic and included in my budget are supplements, make up I order from Amazon, and dog food. She too eats organic, grass fed beef, or chicken, I am guessing I spend between $40 - $60 for my dog (vet bills not incl). I use about $400 - $500 a month. I am not on the rode but during Covid ordering pickup gave me the chance to compare prices. Here in Arizona, most items were lowest at Sprouts, then Trader Joe's, then Fry's. Safeways here I like the quality of meat better and fish, but they don't have enough organic foods for my needs.

Very Good! We have been saying to those that will listen, that one person CAN be a full-time RVer for around $1k per month presuming your RV/car is paid off. In our case, with the two of us in a small not-paid-for used motorhome, our living expenses cost us about $1,500 per month and we pay another $500 for RV payment and insurance. For retirees, most peoples' Social Security will range between $1,000-$1,900 leaving a small cushion for most and we have a small online business and anyone can do that generates another few hundred dollars a month.

Good job man! Very detailed and broken down nicely! I would offer this for a small savings, use your phone as a hotspot instead of the Verizon mobile device. I run my entire house internet off of phone hotspots. I use an older Motorola phone as a hotspot for a laptop I have hooked up to my Vizio 42 inch tv (which I'm commenting from right now = $10.00 a month for a sim card unlimited everything on my Military Plan = Veteran) and use my everyday cell phone as a hotspot for my business laptop connected to a 21-inch monitor....I also use this method to have internet for my 5 security cameras, my living room tv, and internet.. Point being, you in your situation can use your cellphone as your hotspot. Give a look into that, could save you a few more bucks. Keep the videos coming! Thx!

Thank you for a very informative video. $50.00 per week for food and water almost doesn't seem doable - less than $7.00 a day for 3 meals. Good for you if you can do it. Since you are not 65 and therefore wouldn't qualify for Medicare, can we assume that you don't have health insurance, since that wasn't mentioned in the costs? You mentioned AARP insurance, but sounded like that was just for medications. Insurance would be a necessity for me , so any clarification on that would be helpful. Thanks.

Hello good to see you again and hear this video very helpful I have 3 questions about maintenance and your scamp. 1. It's a 2017 and yes I picked it up from the Factory April of 2017. The really only maintenance I do is keep the wheels beairing grease d and wash it. Keep a good coat of Gel wax on Her. Other then that simple things that have broke. The control board in my furnace went out. Also my Max fan burned out. But I do live out of mine. The Scamp was built to be use a couple weekends a year. So I'm 100% happy with mine!!
