I really enjoy your videos. Here is an idea to consider for winter camping, if you have room. Plug in a big coffee percolator (30 cups) next to the sink. The kind that has a spigot and fill with water. Then you always have hot water to wash your hands and dishes.

Ohhhh I really like that idea 😉

Hi David. Nice video. Not sure how much of the park was open but we have been going for a couple of decades, mostly to launch a boat. The park is actually three separate areas. In addition to the camping area on the "point", there is a day use part (across the highway) and the boat launch (over the bridge). All three areas have amenities. The day use area has an interesting trail that leads back through a narrow gorge (mouth of Tilton river) very different from the campground sites on the lake. The boat launch also has some limited picnic areas at top of the boatramp. Also there is a private rv campground on same road closer to Mossyrock. It's a bit pricey, but the previous owners worked hard to improve it. Now it is corporate owned, so some of the folksy charm is gone. Not saying that's a bad thing, but we enjoyed the older version. Cheers. And keep up the excellent content. We appreciate you! 🌞

We have a reservation at Ike Kinswa in April so this was awesome to see a preview of the campground and park. I just got back from camping at Fort Worden. Highly recommend. My east coast friends were flabbergasted that so many people were camping in January.

When it is raining and winter, I used to like to go by the coast, I would head up towards Blaine most of the time. I used to have a toy hauler but going in tunnels under Bridges. I always found terrifying. When you were going in the tunnel, I think near the Stewart exit. It reminded me of that. I now have a little 204 26 foot Vita Winnebago class C it is so much easier for the 68 year-old to handle we go back to Washington every summer and Snowbird to our home in Texas I really look forward to your videos. My boys are still in Washington state I am trying to talk to them and do having a slab and a 30 amp put in lol

David, thank you for sharing your experience at Ike Kinswa! I'll be staying there in February in site #67 -- it'll be my first visit to this park, so it's great to get a little sneak peek. I appreciated your homage to David Lynch, too.

Looks like a fun place! Blue Velvet is an interesting one for sure....... David Lynch was truly one of a kind. I'd always wonder how he communicated his visions for his tv/films to his team. It seems like it'd be something special to really understand and be able to translate to the big screen.

It was a great place and he was a really good filmmaker. I think he marched to the beat of a different drummer but was convinced in his choices that’s why he was so unique 😊

a dog would definitely count 🐾🐾 Lewis County girl here, used to waterski on Mayfield lake, 45ish years ago, lol. Check out Tacoma Power campground in Mossyrock on Riffe Lake. Love David Lynch ~ 🥲 Twin Peaks was great, pies and coffee shops is so Washingtonian 🏕
