Are Y'all going to be headed anymore north after Amana? We are just up the road from you in Kasson Mn and would love to meet up with yall!
@rvamericayall2 жыл бұрын
That would have been great! But that’s as far north as we made it this year. Maybe next time. We look forward to exploring MN!

We have Electric Bikes for home use. We do love them too. As for our travel bikes we went with Lectrick Folding Bikes. They are so much liter and smaller to travel with in the bed of our truck.

Electric Bike Company now makes folding bikes.

You two are real and genuine and not like others who are full time RVer. Please do a video on the total cost of being full time RVer. Some out there think it's not that much.

Good idea, we are considering that!

How interesting! We love the way you two show us around your travels, rv parks and eateries! Stace your laugh is contagious. I hope ya'll keep doing your vids mainly with you two traveling (& with Grammy K). So many rv'ers that do these videos start pairing up with other channels traveling etc and that kind of turns us off. Keep doing ya'll!

When I was a kid and we would go to my Aunt's house as she always had a rhubarb pie. That was the best pie. Glad you were able to get the good stuff for you pancakes. Love going through small historic towns and learning the history. So I really enjoyed this. Thank you so much. Love y'all Spring,TX

We visited the Amanda Colonies in the early 90’s. I think it was smaller then but we found some good food. I also bought a winter coat that I still wear today.

👋 Hello! When I was younger, we would go to dads army reunions. We did go to Amanda colonies but the only thing I remember was going to a wine place. There were several barrels and a sign that said “shh, wine was sleeping”. 😂 And yes we brought some home. They put it in these cool little jugs.

It was hard enough for me when we became empty nesters to make the transition from cooking for 5 to just 2. We were in the Amana area in the early 80s when we were long haul truckers. We picked up appliances there, a couple of times actually, that were still being Made in America. Looking forward to going back and soaking up the history of the area.

Are you coming to Wisconsin? Lots of great places to see here as well. WI Dells ( Duck Boar ride to see the rock formations along the WI River) Lake Michigan Coastline, Green Bay, and Door County, Drive the Great River Road along the Mississippi, all the lake's Up Nort!! as we say and the flat lands of Central WI where lots of food crops are grown for America. That's where we call home and next year we plan on selling our sticks an bricks and hit the road in our 94 Winnebago Vector. Can't come soon enough. One more WI winter to put up with.

Really enjoyed this video about the Amana Colonies. Love visiting historic places and going back in time as to how people lived. Were most of the places vacant and just historic findings to see or does anyone actually live in that historic part of the colony? Great job on this video and again great musical background, esp. with the banjos. Thanks for sharing. Grammy Kay

I have never liked the back-to-back sites. With my trailer attached to the DP, we're like 75 ft long. I have and will disconnect the trailer and leave it in the parking area, but then we need to unload the car and find a place to park it. We've had people behind us that were obnoxious and their kids thought our site belonged to them.

Took a road trip to the Amana Colonies several years ago ... VERY disappointed. Half the "attractions" and museums were closed and the rest was less than expected. It was one of those "did it once don't have to ever do it again" road trips.
