To read her story and know that it happened in a time where things like this could have been stopped by the so called peace keepers (UN) and that they left and never really looked back was disheartening. I read her story and I’m amazed hat how loving her heart is and how strong her mind was and still is. Not to say she didn’t have things to deal with after all this, but that she didn’t let the evil of this world break her is amazing.

@ Gee Smith: Quoting from Tutsi scholars: "The term "TUTSI" derives from the Hebrew verb תֵצֵא (TETSE = those who "WILL GO FORTH"). Hence, most of the leitmotives in the Tutsi piyyutim as performed here with the majestic harp of David and the flute of Shavouot, say: "NZOGENDA" ("I shall go..."). That is the CODE for the NOMADIC life of the Batutsi Jewish shepherds, who shaped the jewish civilization which has been the landmark of the BTA ("Biblical Triangle of Africa") for thousands years".

This is because, when the Europeans arrived they found that there were obvious feature differences between the Hutu and the Tutsi and said that the Tutsi were superior to the Hutu because they had longer faces, were taller, etc and used them to dominate the Hutu.
