We're probably headed to Vacuo during Volume 10, so I imagine we're gonna run into CFVY there since they transferred there after Beacon fell. RWBY Chibi is a good way to set some groundwork for the audience to know some key members a little better.

Then we learn that Alice had a brother that was “sacrificed” to the tree to get home so that means if it’s true one of them might have to stay in the ever after and or die for them to get back.also we lost the cat which is supposed to guide them to the tree so there no way to get to the tree now even if they wanted to.
