"You may have taken the lead, but I'll even the score." The “lead” probably refers to Yang’s arm. In martial arts, it is common to first throw a LEAD and then a follow-up punch- the latter being the one that dealt the damage. Adam took Yang’s lead punch. God Damn It Barb!
