I've got a Ilia/Blake meme brew in the works. The blake targets either the weiss restand from set 1 or weiss top-check from set 2 to push for damage. Given that the set actually has a lot of decent tools, it's performed better than expected during tested. Turns out, having modal stock-swap and icy tail as well as some solid lv0s makes the deck decent. Not relying on CXs for value is always nice. Also, that lv0 Nora pitch-1, draw-1 riki is *real* nice.

I am currently building up a pryhha with the new weiss. New weiss's ability to control the top 2 opponent cards is nice from playtesting and the new pryhha message card allows me to filter through the deck and in conjunction with old pryhha, is a good way of just filtering out cards from the deck when you refresh. I am also messing with the idea of a Ren/Jaune engine because of the new -1 level if you have 4 or more remnant characters

So I’m going to be still using 4-4 of pyhrra - Ruby but will probably switch into the Qrow after some more testing. You can actually drop the Nora bs entirely because you have access to a S1 Velvet(bunny from team CVFY) which is a global 1k and rest 2 salvage BS as a C

I LOVE velvets 1k all support. Used to have 2 of her in the back stages to just power boost everyone if I didnt get to pull or cycle the lvl 3 weiss.

Currently experimenting on Pants/Choice with Blake and Jaune, there's a lot of good lvl 0's now added!

What are your thoughts on Neon Katt as an alternative to Sun Wukong? It's good as a going first or second option and if you cut down to 18 or so 0s, you get the bounce back to hand pretty reliably. Being able to bottom deck a cost 0 on play as well as plussing and denying on reverse effects is good enough to challenge Sun in terms of overall effectiveness.

Personally I’ve never been a fan of Neon Katt. The bounceback is unreliable, requires you to cut down 0s in a meta where running a high number of 0s is beneficial to present or answer trilanes, and does nothing once the opponent fields more than one character. Wukong in comparison can almost always contest board at level 0 at 4000 power and will return decent advantage. If we were wanting to deny on reverse effects, I would like for our solution not to be something based on the RNG of the topcheck; much too unreliable.
