I think it was fair! I do think the two of us have different priorities with character design but alas, I do love my random belts hahah I think the thing I found the funniest was her mentioning Genshin Impact because I adore the designs of that and I'm not surprised they kinda showed up in these designs a little haha

they're all so prettyy. ik weiss' redesigns is your least favorite but the black on her collarbone/top area replacing the red collar of her v1 design is huge brain. maybe im just a sucker for princessy looks, so it's my favorite

Awesome designs!! I’m personally more partial to Blake and Ruby’s designs the most. I really love the style you went with regarding Blake, considering it’s how I’d imagine her attire, and Ruby just has this amazing classical feel to her. I love that you didn’t deviate too much from how she’s usually presented, but did so enough to where it stands out as its own design! Far better than some of the official ones such as volume 4 and 7’s imo. The others don’t look bad either though, and in fact I like the aesthetic each of them have. I can definitely see Weiss and Yang rocking those outfits. This was a nice video to watch, and it was fun seeing your insight and thought process as you drew! Hope to see more, honestly.

Honestly I love complex designs, I usually draw character with lots of details but of course ocs I draw more often I do add less so I’m not sitting for awhile drawing. But honestly designs don’t always have to be simple or complex whatever people like they should go for it rather if it’s drawing or cosplay.

Love your designs. Your emotive avatar was fun too with all the expression variants^^ Oh, and I enjoyed your commentary on your rules and reasons for your artistic decisions. It was fun to see the sketch and finished lineart and then imagine how I'd place colors on it and compare that to how you colored 'em. I think if I was coloring, I'd give Ruby some sort of gray or dark gray (possibly frilly around the button area, or like Penny, sort of) blouse of sorts so that what she was a little more different from volume 1 (though I guess doing that would be similar to her volume 2 alt or her 4 look and not really that exciting). For Blake I guessed her shirt would be gray, purple or something. Your color placement sorta felt like a lot of flat white. But I love the design itself and all your ideas with the team rwby colored arm bands and the garter belts. (Maybe I'm relying too much on gray... its probably the most boring color.. but maybe that makes it good to occupy space while breaking up monotony of other colors) It hurt me when you said Weiss was what you considered your weakest design for this video bc I adored it. But that goes to show you made some really nice designs if its still such a bomb look!! While the crop-top-half-jacket-whatever with a keyhole-window-whatever-showing-her-chest is similar to her recent outfits, your coloring and styling of it made it feel not too samey. And she just looked *super* cool. A little princely even, which is awesome for Snow White. And I love Yang's headband ribbon and ponytail. While I don't think I would enforce myself to use Red, White, Black, and Yellow as colors in every design, I think you pulled that challenge off really well. Thanks youtube for recommending me this months late.

Omg I love these outfits! I really like what you did with yang. I like how you were able to add the yellow it looks really good. I haven't seen and really good redesigns of yang in yellow and yellow is also just a really hard color. Weiss and yang have to be my favorites but Blake's is also really cool. I like ruby's cuz it spices up her otherwise boring outfit. 💗💗

Very cute designs all around. I think there's maybe a bit too much black across the team as a whole but you've given each of them a lot of character. My favorite would have to be Ruby, something about all those rose designs in her clothing is just so appealing

Will say, the rule of cool you implemented was a bit of a deterrent on these redesigns. It kinda follows the same problem as the new looks where they're just so busy with the belts and other things, so it's kinda messing with the thing that helped make RWBY so enjoyable, that being how approachable the designs were compared to other fantasy series. That being said, you kept Weiss' dress relatively bell shaped so I can't complain, that's queen shit right there.
