I have just finished this series, both Volume 1 and 2 after only starting it about 2 days ago. I don't know what to do with my life now. I heard the hype about this show for over a year, and I never bothered to look into it until now. My only regret is not getting to see this earlier while Monty was still alive. I hope his legacy will be carried out by the rest of his crew, so his vision can continue to flourish for years to come. I know I'm a bit late for this, but... R.I.P Monty

It's the opening sequence for the entire volume. It appears at the end of episode 1. Think of it like a feature length that's split up into little chunks, this is the title sequence for that with a cut down version being used for each episode :)

The creators finally got to the day they waited for, opening the door to the studio and starting a new project, thus revolutionizing the animation industry. It's from a choreography standpoint that makes the older ones look better imo. 4's OP is good, just... kinda looks like a bunch of clips from in-show, made as an opening. It might not exactly BE that, but it has that feel, know what I mean? RIP: Monty's choreography and direction. ;__; Gotta love the new lighting and whatnot, though. Oh, and the expressions! +AK-31 i think its both and I'm also staring to wonder what are the grim truly doing if they were going got kill humans they would attack small villages and nomads mostly but there mostly at vale atlas and the others but not only that in the episode where the grimm are in the city there could have attack the humans close by but went for the hunters (huntsmen and huntresses) i feel like the grimm are trying to tell the hunters something rather than kill them and i have a sneaking suspicion its got something to do with there moon breaking down if you look at the first episodes moon to the latest episodes moon you can tell the moon is deteriorating but back to who the simple soul is it could be both of them because well ruby the main character and jaune kind of is two there both the leaders of the main groups and both are technically main characters

Trailers and first 2 volumes were amazing with in all aspects. Characters had bright and unique designs wich represented personalities, every single song was telling it's own story and fights, they were extraordinary. I miss those times a lot.

You know, I'm disappointed I never gave this show a chance when it came out. I've only recently started watching it and I'm sad I missed out on the initial hype. What even more depressing to me, is that I just put two and two together, and realized that Monty Oum (may he rest in peace) was the man behind one of my favorite web animations "Dead Fantasy". I'm glad he was able to push out his own original content with RWBY. He will be sorely missed, but greatly appreciated.

Rooster teeth, I absolutely love season 3 so far. You guys are doing a fantastic job to keep it up, even if Monty isn't around, it feels like he's still one with the series as they always were. I think season 3 is becoming my favorite so far. it's so exciting, the new elements you guys put in it. everytime I finish a new episode, I can't wait for the next one!

UltimateExcalibur13 That's because it's formatted the same way as RvB and they never bothered to change it to "Volume" for RWBY. However, and I'm not sure, I think that volume and season can be used interchangeably with RWBY, I don't think that it's volumes in a season.

What a great plot. The animation textures and overall overlays are very unique (such as "Soul Eater"). This animations / cartoon, has so much potential. The voice over dialog need more energy but the lack of actually give the cartoon its only character. I love it Rooster Teeth "keep it up" can't what till volume 3

Looking back at this.... I'm feeling a strange vibe from this. I started watching this show in 8th grade (when V3 was only half way through) and it this opening gave off a vibe that I feel whenever I think of things I first got into when I was in Middle School, including RWBY. It gave me a vibe of..... A Giant Future where anything could happen. I know it sounds weird but I just always get that feeling of "nostalgia" whenever I hear this song. It's kinda like how you see an old movie or show you use to see as a little kid and you get that vibe of childhood innocence. This is kind of like it
