I find it interesting how they turned Penny into a real girl. Since the staff can only create one thing at a time, they can't specifically ask to create a human body for Penny because she would die the moment the staff creates something new. Instead, they used the staff specifically to create a new robotic Penny with her "existing robotic parts, taking the virus with it". This leaves Penny soul behind, but that would kill her, which is against the rules. Since her soul needs to be placed somewhere to keep her alive, and since they can't explicitly request a new body for her, they say "get creative" and hope a new body is created. This is how they got around the rules and saved Penny. The moment they used the staff again to create the central location, Penny's robotic body was destroyed. It is a bit confusing at first glance, but I think it's clever the more you think about it.

Ooh, that's a good point. And it means that Atlas stayed afloat in the air longer than I thought it did (even if it's only a tiny difference 😅)

“It’s ooooooookay” Ah, yes, the sweet sound of Ironwood getting beaten to a pulp. Also, there was an event run by the community here on KZbin called the RWBY Volume 8 Ozcars, and the spirit in the Staff of Creation (Ambrosius, but I prefer to put emphasis on “bro”) won the award for the most liked character introduced in this volume

Pinnochio was turned into a real boy by the Blue Fairy.....and so it's the same for Penny in RWBY.

Two things. One: Penny never asks what happened to her father, especially considering that Amity was drifting and probably losing altitude, the last time she saw it. Apparently it floated out of the writers' minds once its job was done. Two: our heroes seem to have forgotten Salem has minions. Nice to see Winter used a lightning glyph to charge Nora; why didn't Weiss ever do that?

When robo Penny looks at Human Penny we see that she has no Skeleton- She is just made of pure aura... I have a theory video in the works about Penny's role in Volume 10 and beyond

Remember Blake.... Penny has been based upon Pinocchio. (Her father being Pietro instead of Giapetto) And in the end of the story, Pinocchio becomes real. Obviously Ambrosius did some magic to encase her soul into a body BUT, there is also the possibility that her being the Winter Maiden and having immense power could have been used by Ambrosius to form flesh.

Not sure if it's consistent throughout the entire series, but from what I have seen, Penny does not use contractions in her speech. When Emerald was masking as Penny, she says she "I don't want anyone else to die" instead of "I do not want anyone else to die". Might be a small easter egg of her not being Penny.

I thought that at first as well, but I was rewatching Volume 8 and I noticed that at the end of the episode where Nora gets the scars, Penny says something like “It is time for me to go, isn’t it?” I don’t know if there are other times where she uses contractions. If there are other times, they are extremely rare. If there are not any other times where she uses contractions, it is possible that Emerald saying one was supposed to be a clue, and whoever wrote the script for the episode where Nora gets the scars made a mistake

Yep I can assure you that everyone makes it out alive and that nothing bad happens. Trust me.😈

Now that I think about it, why didn't they just put the relic back and close the door?

Ambrosius vs Jinn, who’s your favorite?
@mrman052119834 ай бұрын
Tough one for me. I love how Ambrosius is more unpredictable, but I love how Jinn allowed Ruby to use the lamp to stop time without using a question because she thought it was clever. Like even though Jinn has rules, she also has morals and can bend the rules a bit.
