So, the way Im imagining this fanfic of your's going, with this song as context, is this (not presenting this in chronological order, more like how it would be shown to us as a TV series): RWBY find a mysterious power, becoming Power Rangers. After several battles against Salem's Grimm, a mysterious fifth ranger appears, giving aid where he can, but also attacking RWBY (though it turns out to be in their benefit). Eventually, through choice or a battlefield accident, the fifth Ranger is revealed to be an older Jaune (assuming thats who the 'knight' is in the song), who came from the future. We would then get an episode or two explaining how he got here. After that...well, we'll just have to wait for more songs, now wont we?

you've actually gotten it pretty close. I've unfortunately had to whittle my idea down to basically just the outline to fit it into song. details got sacrificed like: team RWBY being separated for longer and they each go on a separate adventures with a specific ranger team to find each other. or in this case the detail that "the Point where it Breaks" is the dark future that must be prevented. Yang reveals that the only one that can go back in time is Jaune (the Knight) because he mysteriously wasn't originally part of the events leading up to that moment. while it's slightly frustrating that I can't add more details into these songs it's also kind of a good thing. it means I can write it all out later and just play with this AI as an outline.

Is Salem getting any special help or is the main villain Salem, because even though Salem is powerful she can’t be a threat to the Morphin Grid itself without some outside help, or I am wrong.
