Hello from Phoenix Arizona, I’m a private pilot. I learned to fly at Phoenix sky Harbor. Got my license in 1987. I’m not flying now due to a medical issue, but you make me wanna go out and buy a Complete simulator set up for home that looks so fun. The last plane I flew was a diamond star D A4 with a G 1000. I have my instrument rating, but I’ve never fly instrument flight. Definitely lots of things have changed like I’m not familiar with fourFlight.

My family owned a jet for years, had a pilot that took all charge of the aircraft. When the flew which was often there was a copilot in the right seat, always. I didn’t think you could fly a jet with only one pilot. It incredible that anyone who flies family, friends or business associates would think so little of those souls that they wouldn’t pay for a co-pilot.
@dryreedАй бұрын
In most jets a second pilot IS mandatory, but there are many approved for single pilot ops. I’ve been told the CJ series makes is light work for a single pilot.
@TheRunwayRyanАй бұрын
That’s true, especially the Garmin equipped ones. A lot of things are automatic and it really is t that hard.
@TheRunwayRyanАй бұрын
I get this one a lot. It’s not a financial reason, it’s just typically easier to get one pilot than it is to find two for a flight. Also the 3+ doesn’t carry a whole lot of weight compared to other jets, so having 2 up there isn’t great.
@JerryGray-j7nАй бұрын

Hey runway ryan! I have a few questions if that's ok. One you probably get asked all the time and it's, can you leave the cockpit momentarily on a single pilot aircraft (for a wee, etc). Second, do work for specific clients or for a charter company? Lastly, How did you become a private pilot? For example, did you pay for your ppl or did you get a sponsorship or loan, etc? Love your videos!! You inspire me to pursue my dreams in becoming a pilot when im older.
