Great to see this Garmin option for an originally equipped Avidyne Meridian and appreciate your description in this video. Would be helpful to see a video on how the autopilot and autopilot controls are integrated into the display and operation of the G500 Txi. Thanks as always for very useful and helpful videos.

Hi Adrian, Thanks for the kind words. The G500Txi in the Meridian is brand new. Garmin has mercifully made this upgrade in a way that any pilot who is familiar with a G430 can read the new book and be competent in a day or two of professional instruction. It is pure magic. No.. for the M600 airplane including the avionics

Are you getting FD bars from the STEC3100 (it appears so)? Did you have to purchase a software unlock for the txi to get it to work with the STEC3100?

Yes. All of the PA46 autopilots produce director bars. I am not sure about the specifics of the installation. Any experienced installer should be able to speak to that. Fly Safely - Train Often .. DR
