Just note that the RX 6500XT is significantly faster in most games despite its technical limitations. And that's exactly what the video was about; whether the 6500XT can beat the (on paper superior RX 580). And yes, it can... why can't most people just accept it... it's a simple truth.

The Rx 6500 xt is quite alright if you are in a tight budget, I got mine for $100 second hand with less than a year of use. However, the card is heavily crippled by its 64 bit bus, the 4 pci lanes and the 4gb of vram, this card would be gold if it came with a 128 bit bus, 8 pci lanes and 8gb of vram. In my opinion you should save a few bucks and go for the rx 6600, its not much expensive, as the rx 6500 its a scam if we take into consideration that its only 2 years old, and can't run certain games due to its hardware limitations, anything that requires more than 4gb will kill the performance.

i don't know man i use to have rx 460 2g and was able to play every game before 2021, 4g really big upgrade to me, in my country rx 6500 only 140$ brand new, 220$ for rx 6600

@@N-StoleMyBike-x9x I agree, the real problem is the 4 lines limitation + the 64 bit buts bandwidth, this card only suffers if the game requires more than 4gb of ram, it works great otherwise.

Rx 6500xt has 8 gb version available in market but it is just hard to find, even though few 8gb 6500 xt available my city online atleast

@@shantonabsen2299 And its not worth it considering the small price difference between the rx 6500 and the rx 6600, btw it seems that the 8gb card is way more available since a few months, when it couldn't be found during 2022 and 2023.

The RX 6500 xt is more efficient, but I would only install this card in a system whose CPU has PCIe 4.0. From Ryzen 5 5600. With a Ryzen 5 5500 or 5600g there are FPS losses because the CPU Cedanne architecture (Zen2+ ) and not Vermeer (Zen3). For example, if you have a 5500, you should go for the RX 580 or go straight for the 6600. The 580 has more bandwidth and VRAM.

After alan wake latest patch FPS jump to 15-28 from 1-2fps and I am using latest drivers for rx 580.

maybe 4gb Vram is just for light game like competitive games and unity game i guess (in term of new game, maybe old game that under 2021 is fine with 4gb vram "i was saying this while using GTX 1050 bruh")

la verdad me iba a comprar una placa nueva por alan wake 2 pero al ver el rendimiento de esta joyita que tengo es tirar la plata tan solo por un juego mi rx 580 acabo de jugar mas de 2 horas a the last of us en casi todo en alto y algunas cosas en ultra y obtengo en casi todo el juego estables de 55 a 65 fps con un raysen 7 5700g y 32gb de ram.

Alan Wake 2 tristemente es una demo tecnica para vender tarjetas NVidia, ese juego es un desastre en gráficos que no sean nvidia de la gama 4000 o prácticamente la inmensa mayoria de tarjetas AMD

Emm oke i will stick with my RX 6500 XT then until 2030. nothing of minimum 8 GB of VRAM title is worth nowadays. average gameplay, bad story, performance issue and DEI SBI toxic. Overrated Great myth wukong is too generic, having Denuvo and only bosses rush. Hellblade 2 is 90 % movie, 2 hours gameplay, full of SBI influence.

Where exactly did you see the issue can you tag the time stamp for me? Also the 4 gigs of vram doesn't stop the 6500xt from being much faster than rx 580 in a handful of games. The problem is only in 2 games and to be honest both gpus are bad for those exact games anyways

@@RTX4080SUPERGAMING I had the RX 6500 XT and because of its limited 4GB ram Elden Ring was crashing when reaching 3.8GB VRam or so. Totally sh**tty card.
