Whoa slow down there! This is turning out to be another one where you make 20 videos in 2 days and then, poff, don't see you again for months. You don't just take every video clip and throw it up individually, you wanna put them all into the same video and compile them and edit it so we don't sit here swimming through you one-handing simple sh*t like washing a car. You're straying off the niche you established with, car rust repair. If someone you followed on YT because they made better content did the same you'd be a bit turned off too, if you're saying you don't even watch KZbin then that partly explains what's going on here. So far you have about 3-6 mins worth of content, if even that. It's been like this for years now, it's as if you suddenly get the interest for all of 2 hours so you make 60 videos, then you say you'll "see about" or "see what I can" and wham, gone. No commitment. But, nothing, once in a while you run through the garage with the camera and all I see is a blur, then you're gone again. This despite plenty projects apparently having gone through the garage you solemnly swore you'd use to make regular videos inside for more down to earth rust repair, so I went ok, and stayed on. Heck, you took down the videos I and people other than me originally subbed for 🤣 Tell me, why should I commit to this channel when it doesn't commit to me?

Unfortunately I don't have time to sit down and edit stuff. I live a super busy life and I do what i can do. Yes I do come and go for months at a time..working tons of hours a week takes its toll and its not like it used to be at the original shop. Tons of chaos at the current shop and way too many interruptions throughout the day. You're more than welcome to come sit and edit the vids if you would like. I record them and put em up raw. When I actually have time to dedicate to the channel (when I actually move the business home) the content will be much better...and I'm about 30 grand from doing that. Sorry to disappoint..no one is forcing anyone to watch.

Exactly, so no need to get all surprised, getting known on YT and cashing in a bit on monetization takes time, you can't just upload completely unedited vids then go offgrid. Most of us picked up on that much, but I remember the live stream & garage build videos when you got your new place. And I needn't remind the idea behind your own personal garage (where you're doing the Jeepster & RX7, etc) was that you'd be able to provide Hack'nPack repairs, not to be confused with the more serious repairs at the shop, from the comfort of your own home, so one panel on top of another and tacked in place then bondo etc, same as before. And most of what's shown is a lot of talking of what you have done and not showing so much as a single tack getting welded. You're just leaving stuff without finishing it, the Jeepster for instance, is it fully welded? filler? primed? Anything? I donno, because now it's about the RX-7. I'd love to edit your content, but, no offense, I can't edit content that isn't here, can I? Uploading 10 mins of nothing in it, 4 times in a day or so, that can't be good for your mobile data plan either. I'm not asking you to spend absolutely hours doing blockbuster editing, I'm strongly suggesting 10 mins of editing a quick video out of 4 videos down to a digestive 6 minute length. For both your subs and your mobile plan's sake. Look at your views man, 300 views in 24hrs, that's nothing for a channel with 50k subs. Fitzee's Fabrications, pretty similar content to this channel, it has a modicum of editing, I'm not talking about explosive 80's action hero intro, but he lays a plan and does it on camera, he does a few vids a month at best, as a result he's committed. He exploded to 3x more subs within a few years, with 20-30x more views. Yorkshire Car Restoration, same deal, they just leave their phone on a tripod set on record, do their thing, move the phone when required, then spend a few minutes editing it. = A.k.a what you shoulda kept doing. Completely exploded in popularity, Commitment sells. Not that I don't want you to have an RX7, like I said congrats and about time. But you shot yourself in the foot buying another car instead of adding to the pot for home-based business. Anyway that's not what I'm on about here. Don't get me wrong. This is feedback, nothing more, nothing less. And yes, no sugar coating it, it's negative feedback and that's part of life. For as long as I've been subbed, negative feedback is about as fun for me to type as it is for you to digest. But let's be honest this started out as a low budget rust repair where you tacked some sh*t in which is better than what most do, and for a channel in that niche you've had surprisingly little negative feedback, about the only I can remember were about the way you did your rust repairs. Once they figured out what this channel was all about they soon left. You had the recipe, you had the niche. Now others are taking it from you while still having successful businesses and families and spare time in real life. If you're so busy you can't relax for a second that's a sign you gotta cut down on waste. Obviously you're successful with your business and if you asked me that's what I figure you should focus fully on, and leave KZbin completely, but so long as you're on KZbin, KZbin has changed, people have come to expect a bare minimum now. I do hope you get that business moved close to home. I've been subbed to your old and "new" channel for as long as you've had the lot of them, this is the only time I left anything negative, I won't be unsubbing anytime soon, you do you, the way you see fit.

@@thedullone Liked your comment because it is funny, still laughing at it 😂 But I beg to remind, I've been subbed to Shaw's channels before this channel ever existed, so about 20 years, at least as long as you (if you're half the fan I imagine you to be anyway). Feel free to look through to see if I left ANY other negative feedback on any of his videos, you'll actually find NONE. What you might find, unless the comments I have replied to has been deleted, is instances where I remind sourpusses who wanted to see 300% perfect rust repair that that's not what this channel is about. To take one outta your book, could you imagine being subbed & waiting 20 years before leaving ONE negative (but as constructive as you could) comment, and you only do it after MUCH contemplation. Then outta the blue some seemingly low effort punk comes in and takes the piss out on you. (Now don't get ornery with me, "Seemingly" is the keyword there, I'm saying what it seems like, not what it factually is). It's HackNpackShop and we're all here for the absolute fun of it. So dgmw, but next time I might construe you "have it infamy", I suggest keeping that in mind. Sumbitch 😊

@ToreDL87 I do appreciate your input, I really do.. I'm not putting up videos to get tons of views or to make a boatload of money. I put up content because some people actually enjoy it and appreciate it. Again, when I get things going at home the whole channel will be treated more as a business and the content will be much better. As for this car, I thought some would actually enjoy the raw videos and the steps to get it running if it will even run without pulling the engine and going thru it. When I get projects like this I move fast on them thus why the video bombing all at once. What was posted yesterday was pretty much everything I did yesterday on this car. Trying to not leave out steps. As for editing, no time for that. My day starts at 6am and I'm winding down every day at about 10pm. Very or little relaxing in between. Internet at the house is horrible(been trying to resolve this for a year) so even if I did edit, uploads would take forever. All done raw off cell phone. Yes, funds can go towards shop but puttering on and selling these projects will get me there quicker..even if it's only a fee hundred prophet per car...thats how I paid for the new shop so far. Again, I appreciate the input..and I do agree with some of your stats but unfortunately for a little while longer this is all I can offer.
